I'm more centrally located. Nowhere near that kind of beauty. Although I can make it to Yosemite and the Giant Sequoias in an hour or two. Yosemite is worth the visit. It's definitely God's country....

Didn't get to play there, but I will some day. it's on the bucket list. That, and seeing an NBA playoff game. Then we drove down to the Big Sur area and back up to Monterey. I didn't have much time as I was at a work related convention, so I had to go to a couple meetings.

Been to Barona many times and will be there for a day or 2 this trip. I usually spend my time at a double deck blackjack table there. I have played the golf course. It's nice.
