And try the heart attack burger in the café. 1 pound hamburger with tons of cheese and lots of bacon. Pretty good.

Of course I took a picture.

A local told me about Harbin when I was at a meeting at Sonoma State about 12 years ago. I had a couple extra days at the end of my trip so I went there. It's a rustic resort that's run by a bunch of folks who live there...kind of like a commune. haven't seen that much tie dye since the 1960s. They have hot pools, cold pools, warm pools, etc. all fed by natural springs. The only place on the grounds where clothing is not optional is the restaurant.

Have you ever been to a place up around the NAPA Valley called Harbin Hot Springs?

The reason Kaz's nose is so big, air is free, so he inhales as much as he can.
Kinda like how you inhale a man's meat stick!

First time I went I tried to order a martini at the table and everyone looked at me like I was crazy.
I think they have a rule about how many beers you can buy on the golf course too. Only 2 on the second nine? Something like that. But it saved me quite a bit of money by having to leave the craps table to go have a couple drinks.

    Thanks for the warning!

I'm more centrally located. Nowhere near that kind of beauty. Although I can make it to Yosemite and the Giant Sequoias in an hour or two. Yosemite is worth the visit. It's definitely God's country....

Didn't get to play there, but I will some day. it's on the bucket list. That, and seeing an NBA playoff game. Then we drove down to the Big Sur area and back up to Monterey. I didn't have much time as I was at a work related convention, so I had to go to a couple meetings.
Yeah. On my bucket list too. My brother plays Pebble at least once a year, the bastard. He goes during that time they reduce the rate in the spring. It's actually a good time to go. Right after the pro am and spring time in heaven. And there's a half dozen courses in the area that are somewhat reasonable in price to play. A couple of muni's which are as good as most private courses.
