Jc you are so right my man.This is one of the main reasons that I dont post here as much as I used to.This pla e used to be a place where u could come and talk about anything and get help and great advice.I went through some very tough times in my life and this site and these posters really made my troubles easier.This place has changed into a high school locker room.I mean if u go out on a limb and say u are a fan of some team or someone there are people here just waiting for something bad to happen so they can post and put u down about it.I made a mistake for saying a couple times that I thought Tiger woods would come back and win again.I took a lot of shit from a lot of people that was not a Tiger awoods fan.This place does not feel to me like it used to.I know my brother Vols cared about this place and defended it on many occasions when I told him it had changed.I don't think anyone has taken the abuse here that he has.Hell the Dale Jr. Hating alone would have driven most members away on its own.I really hate that this is what has become of this place.It used to be about sports and Gambling and giving your opinion on games.It's now a place where u are better off not to go to deep into your personal life here because when u do some see that and wait for an opportunity to use it against u.It's sad.

No doubt Jerry that we have gone too far on many an occasion.

I too have taken a few jabs that could have been better not said.

It is the Internet, guess we all need to remember that.

Most of these people you will never meet, hell you won't even have a real conversation with them ever. So to expect some level of civility is probably asking too much I guess.

There are a dozen or so posters here that I consider good friends, the rest I don't really worry too much what they think of me. I'm secure in my own skin.

FYI: my favorite golfer is tiger woods. Hated what he did but he still is my favorite.

Well if Wayne rubbed it in then have at it. I don't recall one way of the other if he did or didn't. No doubt Wayne has rubbed a few people here the wrong way, myself included.

I can tell you this Raven, one thing I hopefully have learned and I try desperately to now apply to every situation like this. I try my best to treat others the way I would want to be treated if the shoe was on the other foot.

When the Steelers got beat last year by a shit Denver team my phone blew up. It got me pretty hot under the collar, I lashed out at a few friends here and they quickly reminded me of me sending them Tebow texts all year when they bet the other team.

They were right, and I was wrong. Decided then that taking joy in someone else's misery wasn't something I wanted to do anymore, rather pick a guy up once he's been kicked, than kick him some more.

Just how I am trying to be, I promise from time to time I will fail at this and probably will be reminded that I am being a hypocrite.
I will admit I'm wrong again and keep trying not to be that type of fan and asshole that I dislike in so many other people.

I will say this as it pertains to Wayne, I didn't find him to be the most likable individual in years past. Not sure what has changed but I can say that I like him a whole lot better now.
Hopefully the same can be said for me for those who didn't previously like me.

I agree with a lot that you say giz. I replied about that play because it was a specific play you picked out. There was no flag thrown on the Brady play and I think he was going in to protective mode more than anything. I kept looking at the replay with them on the hit and I was seeing a shoulder hit a chest. It quite honestly baffles me how sometimes you or others don't see what I was looking at. I thought it was a pretty clear view.

I put in my post that the Ravens are dirty and Brady was ok in doing what he was doing and you come back with saying the that the announcers think it was a legal hit.

So I will say I think the game has become a joke with all the flags BUT if you think whatever the announcers say is correct you might want to turn the sound off and watch the game because those guys are wrong about almost everything they say.

Thats a first down and its not ,thats a fumble and its not, thats a tuck rule and its not,thats a reception and its not, they make comments were I say what the hell are they looking so many times that it becomes aggravating.

I like the hit and dont think a flag should be thrown but 9 times out of 10 there is a flag on that play for a defenseless receiver not a blow to the head.

I really wanted the Falcons to win because I didnt like any of the other teams.Now I gotta listen to the fake prayer who loves God but helps in covering up murder and all the Harbaugh bowl crap for the next 2 weeks.

Giants pick over Ravenss. Trust me on this one the Ravens probably won't win another game. The defense has been decimated with injuries. They are starting people who should be on the practie squad. Flacco has regressed as a QB. While he was never an All Pro he has now gone from decent to bad. The Ravens clinched a playoff spot yesterday when the Steelers lost to Dallas. Now they are facing a Giants' team that was embarassed yesterday in Atlanta 34-0. That and the fact that they are now tied with the Skins and Cowboys makes this a must win situation for them, moreso than for the Ravens. Will not be the least bit surprised if Eli produces the same result as his big brother Peyton. Giants wint by at least 14. Bol if you follow.

If I think the thread title is high schoolish or stupid giz, I'm gonna say it. I havn't sugar coated things here in a decade and i'm not gonna start now. This thread was intended for me and my reaction and he got it. Just read his later posts in this thread if you don't think it was intended to get a rise out of me. Second I will say I have not posted to much because you cant debate with people when they want to start an arguement and name calling.

With that being said I think Brady is still in the top 5 QBs in the NFL and I also think he did pussy out on some plays in this game. Also Raven they dont wear metal spikes in football like they do in baseball so for Brady to slide with his plastic cleats up and protect himself from the late hitting dirty playing Ravens I dont blame him.Also the Pats have gotten favorable calls for years from the refs, the worst hit of the game was by Mayo of the Pats and guess what no flag.
