I also remember this scenario last year with N.E. under almost the exact same circumstances.
They beat Denver by 18 points in mid December as -7 favorites. A few weeks later in this exact round of the playoffs after Denver won a home game and N.E. had a bye, the Patriots were -14 point favorites at Home and most here were all over the Broncos. Denver lost that game 45-10. Second meetings don't always go the other way. Sometimes teams just match up well with others and it's that simple. I know it happened to N.E. vs the Jets a few years ago but let's face it, that was a divisional opponent and we all know those games tend to go differently at times with the teams knowing each other so well.
