I also remember this scenario last year with N.E. under almost the exact same circumstances.

They beat Denver by 18 points in mid December as -7 favorites. A few weeks later in this exact round of the playoffs after Denver won a home game and N.E. had a bye, the Patriots were -14 point favorites at Home and most here were all over the Broncos. Denver lost that game 45-10. Second meetings don't always go the other way. Sometimes teams just match up well with others and it's that simple. I know it happened to N.E. vs the Jets a few years ago but let's face it, that was a divisional opponent and we all know those games tend to go differently at times with the teams knowing each other so well.

1 MAJOR thing you are leaving out. Tebow was qb of that team, not Manning.

Falcons are a way better TEAM then they were last year. For some reason Matt Ryan is always the one who gets blamed but I don't think he's a bad QB and he is pretty smart at his position. I really dont care about college cause alot of guys mature and do become better. He's improved every year IMO and the TEAM has also. And the Georgia Dome is becoming a tough place to play. Falcons were 7-1 at home (only loss was last game of the year after we locked up home field advantage) and everyone seems to overlook that. It's the NFL and if you go 13-3 in the NFL you have won a few BIG games I'm sure. It's time the whole team steps up. Ryan will be held responsible even if he goes 30-33 3td and 0 int but like I said this team isn't about 1 player. It's about the whole team and 70,000+ fans getting rowdy. I think this game gets out of hand early but just my opinion. I'm sure nobody agrees with me like normal but I really feel like this is the year Falcons shut all the critics up!!

Schaub is as bad as Tebow at times though!!! NE at home in great conditions just spells out blowout IMO.

Really? No comparison. Ryan and Tebow a better comparison and that's not really close.

Falcons have been great at home the last few years during the regular season. Why is this year different?

Tebow has just as many playoff wins as Schaub does brother. Manning isn't coming here this weekend either. Don't forget that!

I think that is false. Hasn't Houston beaten Cincy in wild card round 2 years in a row? Oh nvm guess you are counting Yates winning... Which proves my point even more

And on the east coast thing Wayne, I think it's a very valid point. But surely, they know that and have been back on the east coast since wednesday getting ready. During the regular season I think that might be 100% true, but in the playoffs, I don't think it matters imo

How does that prove your point? They beat Cincy twice at home in 2 years. Once with him and once without. Schaub has had plenty of years in this league kb and the fact is, he won his 1st playoff game this season. You talk like this guy is better or greater than what? What has he ever done to make him "That" QB you want him to be?

Rodgers had the best quote ever recently.

"You earn your paycheck in the regular season and you earn your legacy in the postseason"

Until some of these guys show it, they havn't shown it.

This is basically the 3rd playoff game in 3 weeks for Seattle. I truly find it hard to believe their gas tank won't be leaning towards E come the 3rd & 4th qtr this weekend.

Dumb to compare Schaub to Tebow. You know it, I know it. Enough said

Not really, not when it comes to their postseason success. Facts are facts kb.

I love people that simply treat the postseason like the regular season when looking at guys like QB's. It simply isn't even on the same planet and it is a totally different ball game. It seperates people and it makes people like Doug Williams and breaks people like Dan Marino. Guys that over their career, simply can't be compared.
