I would've gone 3/75, but to give this guy 5/125 is very risky.
In general though, are contracts as absurd in any other sport as they are in MLB?
A few that come to mind this offseason:
Victorino 3/39 (I like what Vic did in Philly, but c'mon, $13M/year?)
Grienke 6/147 (WTF? The 2nd highest contract for a pitcher ever?)
Upton 5/72.5 (awful)
