Well, I disagree. Plenty agree with that and plenty don't.

That is quite important here in my overall take.
savage, NFL Teams do it, NHL teams do it and so do NBA teams at the END of a season when guys actually are wearing down and when you need to rest them for the upcoming playoffs. Not in game 17

Imo it would be more appropriate for the Heat owners to slap fines on their own players for not annihilating the Spurs like they should have(assuming of course that the Heat didn't take it easy on them only for the tv audience and ratings. lol).

Thats your opinion-you are neither an NBA player nor coach-obviously Popovich felt differently).

At least the Heat showed up for the game. James wasn't sitting on his couch watching.

Oh so you think David Stern truly cares about the fans? I'm pretty sure he is bathing in his millions not giving two shits about the fans. I agree with you though, fans are what "pays" the leagues and without the fans we would have some different things going on. BUT I think that is no excuse to turn a game upside down, dictate the competition, and do what is best for everything beyond the game itself. I'm a fan and I don't like to see shit messed up unnecessarily. Hell I don't like to see my favorite team win a ball game that had a huge blown call or something.

Right, Stern has his millions and could have sat back doing absolutely nothing but waiting for retirement. He didn't and it told me he does care a little and i'm glad he does.

Green is 25 fuckin years old and Manu hasn't played shit for minutes this year. If anything, sit Duncan and Parker and call it a sore back or something and everybody is probably much better off with it. Instead, Pompousvich decided to give the league and fans a big middle finger.

                      What does that prove?
If one bully beats the shit out of someone and another person sees what is going on and helps him do it, does that make it right?

Had James played four games in five nights and been traveling during that time?

It proves that i'm at least not alone in my thinking. There are 2 sides to it and we both have our own opinions on it.

I agree and already said that this issue is debatable-it is not like debating how much 1 and 1 equal.

Good point and I thought that same thing as soon as I put that...it's also possible that he is trying to play the nice guy for the fans to give himself a better image. Not saying that he is, just saying that it's possible and that I would not discount that. Regardless, he is stupid for tweaking the NBA to what appeals to fans as opposed to doing what is best for the game itself.
