You talking basketball? I gave up on getting SEC respect in basketball. I mean Pearl's first year. He made Tennessee a 2 seed. LSU and FLA made Final 4. FLA won every game by 15 points on the way to a title. So Car got hot at end of year and FLA beat them like 48-46 in Sec conf title game... SCAR killed everybody and won NIT.

Then the year Tennessee got bad beat by Oden's Ohio State after leading by 20 in Sweet 16, Vandy got beat by Gtown in Sweet 16 on a Jeff Green travel buzzer beater. FLA won title.

I have always argued SEC was way the best conferences those years, but its all BE or ACC no matter what.

That was a horrible example. If you are talking about Duke going ofer, then yeah I understand that. Duke sux at football. Now if Duke were awesome, getting lucky to beat your team by 1 point and then playing for the college football natl title you may feel different.
