Lets look back at 06 Michigan/Ohio State the "Game of the Century". Then Ohio State got flattened by FLA who Tennessee lost to 21-20 and Tennessee was winning with by 6 with 5 mins. left.

Idk what year it was LSU shutting down the high Powered Sooners(the creator of team SEC) as 6 pt dogs on the ML.

At least in the present day the SEC is getting respect. Both of those teams above were 6 point dogs and woodsheded them. So with those also disrespected underdog teams, yeah leaving out 04 Auburn was the right move. You guys are retarded.

As for team SEC when FLA got lucky and beat Tennessee by 1 point in 06 of course I was rooting for Florida to do exactly what they did. They know they got lucky to beat my Vols that year, Justin Harrell was playing with a broken arm and they still won by just 1 point. I hate FLA even more than Bama, but I felt like they were an example of what my Vols would have did to Ohio State too.

You talking basketball? I gave up on getting SEC respect in basketball. I mean Pearl's first year. He made Tennessee a 2 seed. LSU and FLA made Final 4. FLA won every game by 15 points on the way to a title. So Car got hot at end of year and FLA beat them like 48-46 in Sec conf title game... SCAR killed everybody and won NIT.

Then the year Tennessee got bad beat by Oden's Ohio State after leading by 20 in Sweet 16, Vandy got beat by Gtown in Sweet 16 on a Jeff Green travel buzzer beater. FLA won title.

I have always argued SEC was way the best conferences those years, but its all BE or ACC no matter what.
