Hell no, but his ass wasn't going up to the window in a wheelchair with a ski mask on to collect his checks either. He has 2 rings and that alone deserves an ovation and a thank you. Again, can't figure out what Wood ever did to deserve that.

I actually thought KB was saying "Thank You Kerry Wood for finally retiring". I always made it clear around here exactly how I felt about this head-case. He averaged 6.1 Wins per season over a 14 year career. Saying he underachieved is a massive understatement for this guy but in Wrigley, I guess it's worth a standing ovation!

Yea, I looked at his numbers this morning. A lot worse than I thought.

Guess I always held out hope after being dazzled by him his rookie year striking out 20 vs the Astros. He never really did much after that
