    Picks History

I took this from the site i do the contest at, as you can see you can be a .500 capper and do quite well in bases and when you lose it isnt bad. To me, i just want to enjoy the capping and not get rich, the second you think you can beat Vegas and actually earn money at this you are already defeated

Please dont mistake me posting this for bragging, just trying to illustrate the value of betting dogs in major league baseball.

Maybe you should do a contest for money, pony up like 30-100 entry fee and pick 5 games a week versus other cappers.

End of the year you have lost no more than your initial investment and you will have fun during the season.

I have never won the contest, even the year i finished up over 1900 but i have fun doing it and its cheaper than paying the bookie 300-500 every week

Like i said, .500 capper but when you do dogs it makes baseball fun and much lower risk
Are you wagering on each game every night???

No Joe I dont wager much anymore, just do contest betting.

Pay a entry fee and make 5 picks a week, so I guess that is wagering at its core, but to answer your question.... No i dont wager with an offshore or bookie on baseball. I simply do contest with entry fees and get my gambling fix taken care of that way.

I'm with you, JC. I don't bet sports any more...but when I bet baseball I'd bet dogs, totals and favorites under -130, hit 51 or 52% of my plays over the season and win 2 or 3K. I'm not a great handicapper by any stretch of the imagination and the money I won was at a very low wage given the amt. of time you spend on it in baseball...but there's no future betting big favorites in baseball. LWA, you have a good point about 'fun'. Handicapping baseball just got to be kind of a grind for me later in the season.
