I just like how people judge Tiger. The same divorced,cheaters,drunks,gamblers,drug using people are the first to point the finger but they are just as big a piece of shit as he. It makes me laugh!!!!

Face it vols, no matter which side of the Tiger argument you are on, you are judging him one way or the other by either holding things against him or choosing to look past them. I'm pretty sure people here who have done all the things you have mentioned here are on both sides of the Tiger fence so i'm not sure how that matters. Any time you voice an opinion on somebody, you are judging them one way or another.

The only ones who havn't are the ones who HAVN'T posted in this thread.

That's where you wrong. I'm judging him by his ability to hit the golf ball. Not what people hold against him or what people look past him.

No, you are choosing to label him innocent and us guilty. You can paint it any way you want but that's what we have all done here. No different than what a judge would do. When you talk about anything beyond golf (Like you have), you are just as guilty as us!

I'm pretty sure everyone will and does admit he did some f'ed up stuff. Because we choose to still root for the guy a) because he's good for the game and/or b) because some people can actually forgive others despite their faults, it doesn't mean we're playing "defense attorney."

I think part of it has to do with the idea that fans, people, etc hold up athletes as "Gods" that can do no wrong when in fact, when it comes down to it, they're "normal" guys like you and I.

It's not...at least IMO. I've always said R Kelly is one of my favorite artists, but the guy has some serious issues in his person life/decisions making abilities.

I'm more bothered about the link to steroids tech. That is very hard for me to forgive OR OVERLOOK when you talk about a guy who was known as the best EVER before that and now, has won one (Today) Tourney since. It's not hard to think where there is smoke, there is fire there. Especially since he has basically done NOTHING since. I feel like i had the wool pulled over my eyes by this guy bigtime as a former huge fan of his.

P.S. Yes, i would look at every athlete a little differently after that. Like i do Clemens, Manny, and Ortiz, 3 guys who i used to cherish as a Boston fan so yes!
