I've heard people rip Bryce Harper because he's cocky and pompous and I laugh. The dude was on the cover of SI at 17...what the fuck do people expect? I used to look at athletes like role models and then I realized they could give a fuck less what I think so I cheer for the team and hope for entertainment. I can't really watch golf unless Tiger is playing and I was able to separate what he did from what he does on the golf course unlike most people did.

My comment has nothing to do with how they're treated. My comment has to do with the fact they make the same mistakes and do the same dumb shit as you and I. People put Tiger on a pedestal and were "shocked" when the who drama started. I personally wasn't shocked at all...I actually just assumed he was f'ing around on his wife.

I would say 1% of people on this earth are real in every aspect of their life. He obviously was good at keeping his transgressions hidden from his ex-wife, but when it comes to his emotions on the course and how he acts in public, I think he's pretty real.

I didn't say it was right...simply made the pt that people make mistakes and at some point, I think it's time to move past those mistakes. I guess I'm good at forgiving people cuz Lord knows I made tons of mistakes in my life and still do every day...I've learned not to judge people as harshly as I used to because I'm nowhere close to perfect myself.

And you're right, him getting married is the thing that made me shake my head. I would suggest that most athletes don't get married, but that's not reality.
