I'm not going to get caught up in all the stats and shit cause really come Sunday you can about throw all that out the window. Pats offense vs Ravens defense is going to be like a mini pro bowl. Big time players on both sides of the ball and it will be fun to watch. I'm leaning Ravens right now but it will be a decision I make on Sunday. I ain't going to throw a bet out against Tom Brady without doing a little more soul searching.

I don't think that yates played that bad and I know that if Jake D was in that he would have been sacked a lot more.......if you watched the game, one thing that helped the Houston offense was the ability of the offensive coordinator to call plays where yates whent on the move (roll out pass) and had success. I don't think old Jake could have pulled off such plays and could have been much worse off.......

Lots of interesting take and opinions in this thread.
Here is a scenario to get at your own true feelings:
Lets say you have an open two team 7 point teaser with one side already in and you have a choice of taking either New England -1/2 or Baltimore + 14 1/2 to complete it- which one would you choose?

It really doesn't matter who wins this game. Fact is they WILL LOSE to either SF or NYG. in the Super Bowl
Take the 8 and don't be late!!Last edited by ChuckLazar; 01-17-2012, 01:10 AM.

If you were Pgh you would have known that for a fact, cause we all watched it happen during the last 4 games of the season, and Tomlin said at the beginning of that week that Clark won't play.
Hampton and Heisel re-injured early in the Denver game and did not return. Woodley came out many series in that game.
Not hard to go against my home team with all that happening.
Pgh and NYG manhandled NE in their games. Balt beat Pgh easily in the first game at home and on the last play of the game in Pgh.
SF beat NYG twice this year in very close games. Once during preseason and once in the reg season.
SF beat Pgh in very close game that broke open only because Ben couldn't move and should have sat. If Batch would have played Pgh would have won and got the #1 seed.
I saw Ed Reed hurt his leg on the last play of the Houston game in the end zone on a hail mary pass. He got carried off the field and into the locker room.
If Reed isn't 100% I could see Brady hurt that secondary.
But if he is ok, this game won't be any different than when the Steelers beat them.
SF and NYG have the best defenses left, out of the 4. The winner of that game will beat the AFC Champ because of the pressure from the DL and LB'ing corps.
Injuries could change things if they happen this week. Just like when Pgh's Center Pouncey got hurt in the AFC Championship game last year and it hurt Pgh in the Super Bowl.
Who knows, maybe Ray Lewis breaks Brady's leg on the first series. Odder things have happened in the past.
