Exactly KB. This ranks right up there as one of the dumbest contracts every given an athelete. This isn't the steroid era when guy were putting up big numbers at 38, 39 and 40 years old. Once he hits 36 or 37 his production will drop off drastically. The Angels will be paying him $25 million a year for the last 3-4 years of the contact and they will be lucky to get 16 home runs and 75 RBIs a year out of him.
Cardinal season ticket holder. Kind of glad we did not stuck with that situation down the road. Most fans seem on that same page. As long as they invest some of that money is a SS and another OF with Craig out til May. Rest of the team is still solid.
