No doubt, and I don't see it changing in the near future. LSU looks tough for the next couple of years with the recruits they have coming in. Your Vol's have a good class coming in as does GA. Many of these SEC teams third stringers would be starters in other conferences.
Not a big SEC fan, but they deserve the credit they are getting. Look for rob to be playing a lot of SEC teams in this years bowl games.
im still trying to figure out how a team doesnt win their conference
Doesnt win there division of there conference
Doesnt play and win there conference title game
Somehow deserves the right to play in the national title game?
this team being alabama.
I'm not saying bama isnt a great team. I think they are good. Though they have no Field goal kicker.
My point is if you lose to the #1 team in the nation at home in my opinion you are done. Finished season over.
Ok state or stanford deserve a shot at lsu long before bama does in my book.

bama had there shot and lost.
If someone anyone can argue otherwise im all ears
Both teams played to one loss seasons.
A played in the SEC.
B played in the Big 12.
A's only loss was to the undefeated #1 team in the country by three points.
B's was only loss to an unranked 6-6 team by six points.
"A' lost at home. "A" doesn't have to play in a title game. Should not be eligible. End of discussion. The BCS is a ,essed up computer system designed to confuse people. It allows the NCAA to pick who they want because nobody can understand it. Bama had their chance at home. They are out. All this does is decide where all the money is going.

If you think losing at home to LSU is a worse loss than losing @ Iowa State, then you value home field advantage far too much.
Alabama not playing in their conference championship just displays how much stronger the SEC is than the B12. #2 team in the nation doesn't even make the title game because of how strong the other teams in the conference are.
I don't understand what makes Bama "out" but not OK St.
I am not saying there is a right answer. But why is Bama "the answer"? They are #2 because of what? ESPN and the media. Having no common opponents with Oklahoma St, how do we really know? I would love someone to explain how Bama had this "difficult SEC" schedule. They played a bunch of garbage this year. And lost at home to LSU which is obviously a good team. But saying Bama is 'easily' the best team is just guessing.

Stanford would be in the same boat as Alabama since they did not win their division nor played in the conf title game
Okie state beat i believe 5 teams ranked in the top 25. Bama beat 2. Save me the tough sec schedule bullshit. Vandy, florida, miss, miss st, tenn all sucked major dick this year.
And this thread proves my point about how fucking queer "sec" fans are. A tenn fan starts this thread even though his team isn't even bowl eligible. Why the fuck would you want one of your rivals to win the ship? As an OU fan, I'm glad Bama is playing LSU instead of Okie St, even though i think it's bs.

Uh wrong again, it just means the #1 team played in their conference.

Couldn't have said it better myself (obviously I didn't). As a Miami fan, I can't stand V Tech, FSU, etc...it cracks me up that fans of a team in the SEC suck the conferences cock by talking about how great the other teams are.
