Jones is just as good? No offense man and he may end up being just as good, but you're being a homer. There is absolutely no f'ing way you can say that if you watched both these WRs in college.

How the hell am I being a homer? The guy played at Alabama and us Vols don't really like them very much Jimmy.
Both guys were predicted to go in the top 10 so alot of the experts saw the same receiver I do.

Ball Skills: 3 (Average) Flashes strong hands and makes some spectacular catches. Shows the ability to contort his body and adjust to poorly thrown ball. Shows excellent awareness and body control along sidelines. Does a nice job of timing leaps when attacking the jump ball. However, he drops more 'catchable' balls than he should. He occasionally will allow ball into frame on occasion. Also will suffer from some focus drops. Needs to be more consistent in this area.

As far as the i'm a UT fan and he played at Bama debate goes, we know that means nothing once they reach the next level. Just ask kb, the Oklahoma fan, how much he loves Durant, the Texas boy who now plays for OKC. Seriously, it means nothing at the next level. I think Jimmy was right about the homer comment ....... For the record, i think the Patriots draft SUCKED!!!!!!!

Problem is, i think that every year. I guess they drafted Mallett because of great value but Brady is there like 4-5 more years and they love his backup (Hoyer) so whats the point?

They also draft 2 RB's? Why?? They are pass happy and Ben Jarvis, along with Woodhead were really good last year.

They need defense and a damn pass rush and they have done NOTHING about that!

I really like what the Bills have done. Dareus wasn't my top choice, but I think he'll be a starter immediately. Like them coming back with Williams at corner

I think a lot of teams are going to be kicking themselves in the head for not picking Ryan Mallet. How does two QBs that can't even throw a 15 yd dig route: C Ponder & Jake Locker get picked ahead of him, let alone in the lottery. Lcoker was 4-20 with a few ints against the best D he faced all year. I think Locker is prob a good dude, but there's no way he's gonna be a good QB. I really think a lot of these GMs are nothing but a bunch of followers. All it takes is for a handfull of GMs and Scouts to say that a certain player has character issues, and 31 of the 32 teams fall in line. I think it says a lot that the team that has the most success eventually pulled the trigger on Mallet. I know it was in the 3rd round, so there was a lot of value there, but I also suspect that they knew everyone else was dumb enough to let him fall there.
