Spark, Yes I do. I have owned 3 German Shepherds in my adult life and my current one Annie is the love of my life. Would never hurt any animal and it saddens me to see any animal abused. However I do believe in second chances and I do believe people can change. If so have evidence to the contrary about Vick please share ir with us.

I'm no fan of big ben. He too is a scumbag POSOriginally posted by ravenmaniac View PostHey Spark exactly what don't we get. That he did something despicable, paid dearly for it and now is getting a second chance. Interesting I don't recall you or 10 Dime making similar comments about that rapist Big Ben.2013 NCAA POD Record

That is great that you can forgive and forget like that. I commend you for that. For me, I judge future behavior with past behavior.Originally posted by ravenmaniac View PostSpark, Yes I do. One more question and I am done. Would you allow Vick to watch and take care of your dog for a month??

Maybe a bad analogy but if someone was committed for being a pedophile do they deserve a second chance as well. Would you let this person watch your child.
I know I am not comparing apples to apples here as it is two different crimes.
I am a very forgiving person for a lot of things. Not that I matter to mike Vick but what he did was inhumane and of course he had to change to what he portrays today. His career depended on it. The rest of his life depends on it. He almost got into trouble at his birthday party a few weeks before the season started. So to say I am over what he did and truly believe he is a changed man I am not so sure. The whole dog thing is just a sick thing where I think many may feel it isn't a huge deal because they were dogs. I totally disagree with that.

No you can't. But it is a pretty good indication of the type of person you are if you hurt animals and place them into situations as Vick did. That is the sick part. As humans we should know better. Vick was the one that acted like the animal.Originally posted by kbsooner21 View PostYou can't compare human life to animal life imo.

I think he should only be allowed to own a chihuahau and then have Social Services, the Humane society, the SPCA and the the ACLU make house calls daily. And give a full report to ESPN daily so we can hear all about his relationship to his puppy.

Really guys
If he mistreats a new dog he is finished, even Vick aint that stupid.
The media loves this shit.
NBA is a joke

I completely agree with this comment but also have a question to the many that still hate Vick over what he did...how do ya feel about hunters? and not the ones that kill for the sake of surviving and having to eat but for the ones who do it for fun or as a game? I would think that is the same shit. I know what he did was cruel and inhumane, but really I see dogs, racoons, possums, deer, etc...all kinds of animals killed either purposely or accidently all day long, it happens. For the record in case ya ask Im not a dog lover, I dont have any pets...I have 2 kids to raise and take care of, dont have time to worry about a dog or any other animal for that matter...so again I was just posting that question, I dont feel strongly one way or the other over Vick's situation...I did like the commercialOriginally posted by kbsooner21 View PostYou can't compare human life to animal life imo.

If we didn't have people killing deer every car in America would be hit by one. If someone was capturing deer and abusing them and electrocuting them like Vick was his dogs then I would have a major problem with it. Most people shoot the deer once and it's over and as much as they do it for sport they do it for meat as well. I don't hunt because I couldn't pull the trigger on an animal that wasn't trying to hurt me but I do like some deer meat chilli and my cars are glad someone pulls the trigger for sure..Originally posted by ogarza View PostI completely agree with this comment but also have a question to the many that still hate Vick over what he did...how do ya feel about hunters? and not the ones that kill for the sake of surviving and having to eat but for the ones who do it for fun or as a game?
