I agree totally. I would love a playoff!!!!!!!!

It is the cavemen in charge that don't though and they are all that matter.

I really don't care what argument you give me at this point Oregon should be number one until they lose which IMO they will.
What sort of quantifiable reasoning do you have for putting a team #1 that has played one top 25 team over a team that has beaten 4 top 25 teams? Just because they looked prettier beating weaker competition? just curious

Now that is the bottom line boys!

That's also the reason I think a playoff eventually happens. None of the BCS games (with exception of the championship game) are drawing over above a 10.0 rating lately and a number of them are having trouble selling out. The Orange Bowl is in a downward spiral so bad that they got destroyed in the ratings by NCIS and The Biggest Loser last year.

In comparison, last year's Sweet 16 on Friday drew an 11.0. Why is that? Because the games actually matter! I honestly have no idea what ratings a playoff would draw, but I'm pretty sure Alabama playing at Oregon this weekend for a chance to match up with Auburn in the "Final 4" would be a ratings bonanza.

You mean you're not excited about an ACC/Big East Orange Bowl this year?

The WAC may be better than the Big East

The Big East and the ACC are both a joke. People get stuck on the national title game keeping teams out, but what about the fact that these 2 conferences get auto-bids every year. IMO, this is honestly the biggest f'ing farce in all of sports.

Not may be, it is better.

Big East is awful, league is a joke and doesn't deserve an auto bid to a BCS game

                    These Rankings are BS

How does Bama move up after losing?
Oklahoma stays the same after losing
Oklahoma State pounds another ranked team and they fall in rankings

                    This system is POS
