I wish Colt Brennan was a member here. He would tell everyone the same thing we are JC. 2 years ago in the Sugar Bowl 11-0 Hawaii plays UGA. UGA spanked that ass 41-10 and Hawaii looked like a high school team against an SEC powerhouse.Hawaii averaged 46.2 points a game and got 10 points (7 of which came on a late TD after UGA pulled its starters) against UGA. Colt Brennan dropped like a rock in the draft because he looked GREAT against the scrubs of the WAC but when he played with the BIG BOYS he couldn't hang.

I agree with most of that, but it's a vicious circle. They can't get better because they don't get the pedigree that those teams do, nor will any decent team schedule them because they are scared to play them. They get second level talent that wins because of heart, coaching and desire. Give me that any day.

To me, the whole argument about them not being able to win every game in the SEC is just BS because at the end of the year, it's a one game playoff with both teams having equal time to prepare. To say they don't deserve to be there is just elitist mumbo jumbo. They deserve a shot at the title like anyone else does.

This system sucks ass because there is no playoff's in place. This is no different than basketball Vols. Except there's a 64 team playoff and ANY team has a chance to play in the title game if they win out. Well, we don't have that, so it becomes a one game playoff, and sorry, but they haven't lost one yet.

Boise has alot of heart and those boys show up every week to play. A playoff is so needed. If Boise or TCU gets in then Tennessee should leave the SEC and just play scrubs so we can play for the National Title. Wait Wyoming beat us 2 years ago in Knoxville so that won't work either

We do need a playoff, that way you get everyones best effort.

Let the top teams in and have at it, really doubt we would end up with Boise or TCU winning a title.

What I hate hearing is that the regular season means so much since there is no playoff system. Everyone knows that I'm an SEC guy, but I think it would be horse crap if Boise ran the table and didn't get a shot to play for the BCS. If they were not going to give Boise a chance, then don't rank them that high to begin with. I guess what these people are saying is that the regular season means something to every BCS conference team. Boise should get a shot if they run the table because the writers and coaches ranked them #3 before the season started, and they have done nothing thus far not to warrant that ranking or a higher ranking. The NCAA will suck until we have a four team playoff--I think we need an 8-team playoff, but I'll start small.

So what's your excuse for Utah blasting Bama?

All I hear year after year is the "small" schools couldn't score against SEC defenses. Go check the box scores from a lot of the SEC games so far this season and get back to me. Are you kidding me? Boise St could score with any of these SEC teams especially this year.

Utah spanking Bama...any thoughts?

Bama was undefeated and played Florida in the SEC Championship.Winner plays for a national Title and loser goes play in the Sugar Bowl versus Utah. Utah would have won that game if Florida was there. It was a letdown for Bama to be there and a great achievement for Utah to be there. Simple as that. I bet Utah wouldn't want none of Bama now...any thoughts?

I will agree with you here.The SEC East is as weak as it has ever been.Alot of freshman on those teams.The East is going to struggle even into next year but should be back in contention when these kids are juniors and seniors. When Tennessee played at LSU it was OVER 50% of the teams first ever road game.Thast alot of young guys you know. Time will tell though.

Georgia didn't even play in the SEC Championship that year so they had something to prove. Not even close to being the same scenario.

If they go undefeated and everyone else has 1 loss I have no problem with them going.But if Auburn,Oklahoma and Boise are all undefeated I would have a problem if Boise went over either of those teams.
