Who said Yates wasn't? IMO Yates pretty much got out of the sport(besides making engines) cause he didn't have the total package.Petty doesn't either. I will say this as far as horsepower.Right now if I had to pick who had the best engines and horsepower it would be
1.Gibbs
2.RCR
3.EGR
and then Hendrick

As far as chassis go it's

What makes you think that? He is on the bubble to make the chase and isn't nowhere near a championship contender.I'm telling you if me and you are running Hendrick behind closed doors we say "we gave the old man a chance and now he needs to move on". Martin will not do nothing in 2011 that will make Hendrick any better in the future. If Kasey runs the 5 in 2011 it helps Hendricks future alot.

last year mark won alot of races in the 5 CAR.I think this year he has lost his focus somewhat but i think in his final season he will do whatever and really be focused and win some races and be in contention for the championship.Martin is still ahead of the 88 this year so i dont think behind closed doors they are saying anything about giving the old man a chance and moving on if they are talking about anything its with the 88 team.But he brings in so much revenue JR will be there as long as he wants to.

i think the old man will give it his all this last year and win 3 races.If kahne was in the 5 car i would say he would win more than 3 but as far as the chase goes Martin is very patient and a very smart driver.Think martin finishes higher in the points standings because week in and week out he will be top 15 where Kahne might win more but will have more DNF's pushing the car to far.Its also alot of pressure driving for hendrick.Just ask JR.
