I don't know but with moving his family... Leaving a team that he has been with forever is what I meant. I don't think he can be totally focused whatsoever. Stammen sux and the over under is 8-115. So tell ya what you talked me out of Washington but I just put 100 on the over! See that is why I love bc I can agree but find something I even like better... Over it is! Thanks Wayne..

It just feels good to see a conversation around here about sports and not politics!

Yeah well he's pitching like he is 38! Just from what I have seen I think Lee is way ahead of him. That is why Texas took Lee and left oswalt alone.. At least give me that. Oswalt was being looked at by Texas BUT they left him alone.. Correct

I would take Lee too but Oswalt's 3.42 Era and 1.11 WHIP with 120 K's in 129 IP isn't exactly horrible and i expect all his numbers to improve with a better team behind him. Cliff Lee went to Texas to be the #1 pitcher and all Oswalt has to be is the #2 in Philly so that's pretty good bryce!

I was indefferent towards all the Oswalt to Philly rumors, but after looking up his numbers, I don't think people understand what the Phillies got. The casual fan looks at a pitcher's W/L record and stops there. You can't do that with this guy. As you stated, his WHIP is really good and he's averaging almost a K an inning. If the Phils can get Utley, Vic, and Rollins back and actually have the starting lineup out there on a cnsistent basis, I don't see how they can't at least get the WC after adding Oswalt.

Never said he wasn't a good pitcher... Just don't like that he is jumping off the boat and climbing into another one----- too quick for my liking! I'll probably bet Him the rest of the year but not today!

Oswalt is actually pitching very well this year he has taken some rough losses because of the lack of run support...he is in no way as good as Cliff Lee and his era could be a bit better but that is blown up because of a couple of bad outings, but all in all Oswalt is pitching as good as he has in years...take that for what its worth coming from an Astros fan, he was a fan favorite here and I hope he does well in philly...

Now to more serious matters this freaking Capps trade killed Rauch as my closer in a very tight fantasy league race

I think philly will go righty-lefty-righty...halladay-hamels-oswalt...but any order they will be tough on anyone in the playoffs...if the batting lineup gets healthy they will be downright scary
