Not a damn thing wrong with field turf at all but just was going thru a magazine and was shocked at how many schools have field turf now compared to grass.

vols, Field turf is very, very, different than artificial turf and very, very, similiar to grass. It is very expensive to put in but once it is in, it is a thousand % cheaper and easier to maintain than grass is with the same exact look & feel as grass.
