  • Is the SEC only conference playing on grass anymore??

Not a damn thing wrong with field turf at all but just was going thru a magazine and was shocked at how many schools have field turf now compared to grass.

Blows my mind how many schools have made the switch.I know some of the schools up north have to worry about weather but I'm a fan that likes grass and outdoor football.

vols, Field turf is very, very, different than artificial turf and very, very, similiar to grass. It is very expensive to put in but once it is in, it is a thousand % cheaper and easier to maintain than grass is with the same exact look & feel as grass.

I know here at the Georgia Dome for the Falcons it looks pretty good.I don't have a problem with it but just wondering if all the other schools have the money for it you would think the SEC would have plenty of money for it you know.
