You are really fine making the chase every other year with him driving for Hendricks? That is mind boggling to me. With the resources and financial backing he has now, he should make the chase every year and i'm willing to bet Dale Jr and Mr. Hendrick would BOTH agree with that statement!

He should but I don't EXPECT him to make it every year.For someone yall say sucks yall seem to be the ones with the high expectations.I guess it's easy for you to have high expectations for people because your driver has won 4 championships in a row.The other 42 drivers have fans also and I guess thats what we are.Just fans.

48,24,14,18,11,2 are probably the best 6 guys in nascar and SHOULD make the chase every year.That only leaves 6 more spots so you add 29,99,17,88,5,9,16,33,31 and 3 of those guys are not going to make it.Jr isn't a better driver than most of those guys so why should I expect him to make the chase every year?

Simply not true vols. I never ever said he sucks until very, very, recently and i don't think he even sucks. I think he has been a major disappointment. Big difference and let's be real, even guys like you and kb have echoed that in previous weeks. I've read the threads.

Also, being a Johnson fan has nothing to do with it because i have the same expectations of making the chase every year for guys like Stewart, the Busch brothers, Gordon and a few others too. I guess i'm sorry for thinking Junior is in that class of drivers because i always have. You guys obviously think of him as somebody a couple notches below with the likes of Bowyer, Logano, Newman and Truex. I never did. I think he is better than that.

Joe Logano has the same backing from Gibbs but don't come close to Kyle and Denny.Same with Jr. If yall expect him to be a Gordon or a Johnson your crazy.Jr has won on pretty much every style track out there except a road course so he's not a bad driver but he's a 10th-12th best driver out there right now.Throw in a couple bad breaks and problems in the pits and he's 14th-16th. Hard to make the chase every year IMO when your down the list that far.

No other team has ever had 4 guys with the name and experience like these guys do. Maybe Roush did at one time and didn't they all make the chase???

You guys are so afraid that if you are a tiny bit critical of Junior that you are going to lose your Dale Jr fan club card or something. It's ok to say he has been a little disappointing to this point with Hendricks so far. It's no secret and he finally looks like he is turning the corner on that.

Hey, the Celtics are old and done, the Patriots are past their prime and no longer the favorites and the Bruins are the biggest chokers in history!

Stop making things up vols. I never said you were crazy for any of that. I said you were crazy for comparing a 19-20 year old on a lesser team to Junior. Let's not lose focus here!
