He'll never be able to ump a game again, without non stop abuse and heckling.

I'm the type of guy that generally doesn't like replay all the time, but in that case they should have made a special case, and looked at it again-they fucked up history. I know everyone will remember this call for years, but he should be in the history books, and Joyce robbed Gallaraga of that. Gallaraga has displayed flashes of brilliance at times, but lets not kid ourselves here, he's not the type of guy that's gonna be able to have the chance to throw another perfect game. He reminds me of Len Barker that threw one back in 81' or 82, but he didn't even finish his career with a 500 record, I think he was two games under; BUT he's in the history books, and people will remember him forever cause of his game.

Home plate umpire should have huddled the umps up, made some bull shit up about a bad angle and fixed the call.

Might get ripped for this PoV, but I think Joyce should get a suspension for that brutal call.

Jim joyce should not ump again in the majors for the rest of the year. You cant miss calls, not that big. If you are the best of the best like MLB umps are suppose to be you cannot miss that call not in that situation. An apology is simply not enough. It wasnt a missed call in a 10-2 game. It was a life changing call to a player. Unreal. Go away Jim Joyce you loser go ump pee wee games
