G Tech beat Duke and made it to the conf final.

Minny did beat Butler, Wisky, Mich St, Purdue and made it to the conf final as well. Yes, it is the Big 10, but let's not kid ourselves, this is one of the worst years for the ACC that I can remember.

As for Miss St, though they did make it to the conf final, they lost to Rider and W Kentucky, and their best win of the year came against Vandy...sorry, IMO, not good enough.

I thought Miss St did enough to earn a spot---they beat Vandy that got a 4 seed in the upcoming tourney-to advance to play UK in the SEC final....Minnesota lost in the final of the Big ten by 29. Miss St lost in the final of the SEC who was down this year in OT...to the number one seed of the tourney...Minnesota also lost at home to Michigan...

Minnesota did what they had to do to get there by beating Purdue and Mich St....why couldn't Miss. St be in that mix...if they played---(which we will never know) who would you put your money on Minny or Miss. St.....again we will never know---could debate this thing all day--just don't agree at all with Miss St being left out.

Miss St should be in. Ucla may not have been great but they scheduled them when they were pretty good and they beat them. They also went to Houston (Tourney team) and won. They beat a pretty good Old Dominion team (Tourney team) by DD that is only a 2 point dog to Notre Dame. They took UK to overtime twice, once without their leading scorer and they won the SEC West division. That is enough for me too bryce, especially over Florida.

I will admit that my biggest issue is with FL getting in. I know you will get different opinions about the selection committee and the "eye test," but I watched some UF games this year and I think they're garbage.

As for me backing G Tech, along the same lines, I think they're loaded with talent, but 1) the coach is obviously a putz and 2) we know what talent does when it's wasted on shitheads.

I think Florida should of made it. they went on the road several times and won which is key for me...not that I matter---I also watched them get beat up at home by Xavier but I think they should of made the tourney. They were --are 21-12 so it is close...Wake is one that I thought was close to getting in---won some big HOME games but were 19-10 overall in the ACC...

I really like A&M to trounce Utah St, I think it's a bad matchup. A&M's last 3 loses were battles against Baylor and Kansas twice. They are 9-3 in their last 12.

Does anyone know anything about Sam Houston State? I was just look at where they're playing and New Orleans is a short trp from Huntsville and if they win a couple of games they'll be in Houston. I know it would be a huge longshot, but I just wanted to find more out about them if I could. Has anyone seen them play on TV? I can look at the stats myself, but was wondering if anyone has given them the "eyeball test"?

it's a joke. Look at minny's non conference and the fact they finished 6th in the big ten at (9-9) and tell me how they got in over anybody. Also, gt did virtually nothing in non conference, had a losing record in the acc and they get in?

although a big fan ga tech got in because we were ranked almost all year and have 3 nba players on the team and 2 players in the top 15 this draft.that is why we got in potential.just like the top 25 list put out each year its all on potential that is what the comitee did

But i will say this if ga tech plays as a team they do have a shot to win it all i mean that.yeah i know a little off the wall byt if lawal and favors plays together and they play as a team they could go far in the tourney what hurt tech this year was losing 3 0f the last 4 but they have underachieved alll year.

I don't see near the Carolina blue down here in Atlanta that I normally see thats for sure.
