  • Toby Gerhart deserves the heisman...

Never have I seen this guy have a really bad game!! He runs over anyone anywhere. He reminds me of Jerome Bettis mixed with Larry Csonka. He is a beast. If he does not win the heisman there is something wrong.

My choice is Colt McCoy. Check his game out from Thursday night!!!!!!

There is something WRONG if McCoy doesn't win it. When you throw for 300 and run for 178 ... enough said!!!!!!!!!

he definitely is near the top. He is close to the top in rushing yards and the game on national television didnt hurt his chances tonight.

He definitely deserves it more than colt mc coy..........

I am not racist but to see a white RB do what Gerhart has done is amazing. Him and CJ Spiller are 1 and 2 in the league now.

Sorry dan but that is racist. Who cares what his skin color is? That shouldn't make a difference one bit!

I agree, but I would rank Spiller ahead of him in terms of skill. Too much speed to argue with. Spiller is the next Chris Johnson.

Because it is a big aspect of the game. In all honesty have you seen a good white RB recently aside from maybe Ian Johnson???

No one does. It's just rare to find a stellar white RB. I wouldn't consider it racist. Just a true statement.

It actually has no bearing on "The game" dan. White, black, yellow ... i really don't care what color they are.

They used to say that about a good black QB too. Who cares.

What Gerhart has done has been stellar but i don't put him on a higher pedastal because he is white. That is ridiculous.

Are you guys related to jamaican man.......

What does his color have to do with it. He is a damn good running back whatever his color is.

His color makes him no better or worse I am just saying for him to get nationwide spotlight for his abilities and the fact he is white is "different". Believe me I have plenty of black friends who will even say you will rarely see a white guy in a national spotlight for the RB position, nowadays.

CJ Spiller I feel is the best one for the Heisman. He has meant more to his TEAM than the others. McCoy is the best QB, in my opinion, but if he got hurt, Texas would still be a top 5 team. Spiller goes down, and Clemson might be 2-9. Just my opinion.
