Wes Welker leads the NFL in receptions over the last 3 years. He is white people. He leads the NFL in receptions this year too and he is white. I've NEVER heard anyone mention white in the same sentence with Wes Welker. Never. Do you even know who the 2nd best white WR is in football based on receptions? Anybody??

There are 2, count 'em 2 White WR's in the Top 70 in the NFL in receptions and the No. 1 guy in the League is white. Why doesn't anybody EVER mention that???????

Because it is a non factor and nobody cares about his skin color but i would say based on numbers, it is much more amazing than the white Toby Gerhart!!!

I personally think Tebow will not be a bad QB...He faces NFL Caliber Defenses in the SEC all the time. He has a pretty good arm and people just say he will be bad because of the style of offense they run. Now that a lot of teams in the NFL are adapting the wildcat, he will be beneficial to many teams.

I know dave but when the bullet fires and hits nothing like today, he is out of contention. You can't run for 18 yards against your in state rival and win the Heisman. Mark Ingram for 'Bama has NO CHANCE after having a horrible game at Auburn yesterday too. I think it is either Tebow, McCoy or Gerhart's to win. Clausen & Keenum would be my other 2 in the top 5 who may get invited. I'm no Clausen fan but i know others are.

I see your point and after today, I think Spiller "shot his wad".
But these other guys do have MANY more bullets so when you have a bad game, it doesn't seem as bad because the other guys around you cover it up.
Tebow, McCoy, etc have had bad games this year, but because of their supporting cast, they can still win. Spiller goes bad and they lose. Gerhart, Keenum, Clausen are also good players. I think Clausen has had a great year. The QB for Arkansas, Mallett, has also had a great year with not much help, just like Clausen.

i agree, its the system, not the QB. The QB helps but the system wins, i.e. Danny Weurfell, Charlie Ward, etc.

I didn't know the post about Welker and Collie was directed at "anybody". I didn't know I couldn't comment on it.
