Man, sounds like Tiger was with quite few different women. I can somewhat understand a one night deal, and may be able to think he isn't a complete piece of shit, but long term relationships and countless womes is inexcusable in my book. This isn't one mistake, it's a pattern of pathetic behavior. I used to pull for Tiger, but I don't think I can anymore.

It also seems more stories are coming out now that he just isn't the great guy everyone thought him to be. Sounds like he is kind of an asshole in the Michael Jordan mode. Doesn't sound like people on the tour.......outside of all the friggin money he has brought to the tour.......care much for Tiger. On my local sports talk station this morning they have the owenr of he Palm restaurant in Atlanta on regularly as a golf correspondent. Apparently The Palm is a celebrity spot in Atlanta and Tiger has been in many times. He just came out and said Tiger is poor tipper and just doesn't seem like a good guy.

This is what I never understood, why in the hell do very rich atheletes get married at a young age. When your 27 and making millions of dollars your gonna have more pussy thrown your way in one week than most men will see in a couple years, so why get married. The temptation is much too great. As the old saying goes why buy the cow when the milk is free. I always thought Derek Jeter did it the right way. Have fun, hook up with a new bitch every few months. Then when your in your late 30s and your career is winding down then get married and have kids if that is what you want. Doing it any other way is just a recipe for trouble. JMO

On the other hand, there are devout religious types like Mariano Rivera(and I say that as a Sox diehard) who wouldn't even think of having an affair at any age once they were married-needless to say, in this regard, I have great admiration for athletes like this.

I agree-its all about ratings and what the general populace wants to hear about.
I think the Michael Jackson topic also received way too much attention also in a relatively sense, but at least in that case one could argue that the man died and folks and especially his fans wanted to know why he died.
In this case, we are talking about a famous golfer, who got into a car accident over a sexual affair or affairs-quite a bit different in my opinion-it is a colossal bore from my point of view and should receive zero attention other than his medical condition.
