Two sides to this, yeah he cheated but these women were probably throwing themselves at him. And they want the fame and money now.

Spark, I'm obviously guessing here, but it sounded like desperation. Think if your wife just busted you cheating and told you she was going to call the other girl. The second you got away from her you call the mistress and tell her to take her name off the voicemail. If she didn't pick up.......out of desperation to get hte message to her.......it isn't crazy to think you would leave a message. Especially if this was the girl that he supposedly had a nearly three year affair with. You are going to have more trust in someone that you have been cheating with for three years that hasn't ratted you out. It isn't like this was a one night affair. If you have been with a girl for nearly three years, and she had kept her mouth shut that long, you probably would trust her.

I'd do the same thing. Look, this stuff goes down all the time, and rather being the one that looks like the dumbass, you save the messages to protect youself. With no proof Tiger could just come out and say she was lying, and everyone would believe Tiger over some cocktail server lady that everyone would say was just making up the story to make a dollar. If she didn't have voicemails and texts people would be asking where her proof was.

Obviously in this celebrity obsessed culture money was probably in her mind as well. However, if (as claimed) she had been with him for nearly three years.........and hadn't said anything in that long, I'd have to think she was just protecting herself. Why wait three years if the only motive was fame and money. Sleep with him a couple of times and then break the story. Remember she wasn't the one the broke the story. She only came forward when all this accident stuff came down.

Kobe seems to have recovered. Of course, that was one woman, one night, which I think makes a differnece to many people. If Tiger is having three year affairs and affairs with multiple women, it may be a little tougher to overcome.
