Speculation has it that Tiger's wife will continue to turn the police away for the next week to 10 days, or enough time for the scratches to heal. The scratches do NOT resemble anything you'd get in a car accident, and if Tiger is seen wit hthe fascial scratches, the wife could be charged with domestic abuse. this all sounded too fishy the minute the story came out. Tiger is a low-life, just as expected for years. He's got a temper and been video-teaped throwing clubs on the course for years, yet the PGA does nothing about it.

His wife hit the window of the suv to supposedly free him, but if you've seen the pictures of the accident, the driver side of the vehicle wasn't even damaged. No point in waiting, they're gonna get exposed.

It's not like he's great looking. And the variety thing is only because he has money.

          Woods' Statement On Crash
"As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore.

This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again.

This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.

The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.

This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.

If he wants everyone to leave him alone, he needs to tell the truth, or at least make up a lie, just saying I ran into a tree, and it was my fault, is a joke. Does he really expect us to believe that?

How do you just turn away the police and the FHP?

What if his wife killed him or something crazy like that, because they didn't investigate the domestic issue?

A low-life? I'm not a Tiger fan but how is he a low-life? Expected or suspected for years? By who?

I've been known to throw a club or two on the course. What's your point? How does that relate to this incident.

By law in a traffic accident Tiger is only required to produce his license, registration and proof of insurance.

Do you actually believe only men with money partake in the "variety thing"?

Never meant it to sound like that. What I meant was he wouldn't be getting these women if he wasn't rich and famous. And some men are faithful.

OK. I agree with this statement.

                              Update:

Tiger pulls out of the Chevron Challenge, his tournament.

His statement was vague and will only make it worse. Admit what happened and move on.

Tiger Woods withdrew Monday from his own golf tournament, citing injuries from a car crash near his Florida home. He said he would not compete again until next year.

Woods said in a statement on his Web site that his injuries prevented him from playing in the Chevron World Challenge. He was scheduled to hold a press conference Tuesday for the tournament, which he hosts annually for a small, invited, field.

“I am extremely disappointed that I will not be at my tournament this week,” Woods said. “I am certain it will be an outstanding event and I’m very sorry that I can’t be there.”

His decision to withdraw comes after a car crash left him with cuts and bruises when his SUV hit a fire hydrant and a tree early Friday outside his home in a gated Florida golf community. Woods was treated and released at a hospital after the accident, and has not been seen in public since.

By skipping the tournament, Woods will escape having to face TV cameras and a horde of media seeking more details about the smashup.

Woods released a statement Sunday saying the accident was his fault, but he did not address any of the questions still swirling around it.
