    Manning
    Brees
    Brady
    Rodgers
    Favre
    Rivers
    Warner

AGAIN, HE'S STILL AN ELITE QB IN THIS LEAGUE. PEOPLE F'ING AMAZE ME WITH THEIR HATERADE.

The haterade stems from Farve being an egomaniac and a selfish asshole. Either retire or continue playing. Why make the entire offseason a drama.

The media also sucks off farve like he is some kind of hero.

HERO ? Save the word for people who deserve it, and very few athletes ALL TIME deserve to be called heros and he is not one of them.

and i'd argue about the level we can say this guy is. has only won 4 of his last 11 playoff games, only 1 super bowl, and has ended his last two playoff games with INTs.

Thank you. I mean, did john gruden break into all these guys accounts and make these posts?

Favre isn't even the greatest quarterback in the history of the Packers. It's not even close. Bart Starr won five NFL championships -- four more than Favre -- and retired as the NFL's most accurate passer.

It amazes me the lack of respect tha Big Ben gets. It is simply incredible what this guy does with a piss poor line and a receiving core that cannot get open on a basic route. Aside from probably Rodgers, these other guys would be on injured reserve playing for the Steelers. Just my opinion.

SEE, we do agree on something !!!

My point when I listed the QB's in the league is that Favre DEFINITELY is one of the top 10 QB's in the NFL right now. The state of QB's is not nearly as good as when the Elways, Montana's, Marino's, etc., were playing.
Favre made Minnesota better than they would have been without him.
But to say he is one of the Top 5 EVER - to me, thats a reach

                  • I think it is nearly impossible to rank all-time QBs b/c the times are so different. THe game is 100% different today than it was 40 years ago. Statistically most of the old heads can't compete b/c the way the game is played is so different. Since numbers are the only objective measuring stick, I find it very difficult to judge. I guess you can try to do an analysis comparing the older guys relative to their time, but still quite difficult.

The defenses today are light years more advanced. Today's players are all bigger, faster, stronger then players of 50s, 60s, 70s. So while the pass heavy offenses allow bigger numbers, the QBs have much more complex defenses to deal with.

There were also far less teams in the 1960s. They played less games. I just don't know how you compare Roger Staubach to Troy Aikman, Johnny Unitas to Peyton Manning, or Bart Starr to Brett Favre?

Again, your logic is so flawed its beyond belief. This is NOT a reason to hate Favre, it's a reason to hate the media. I don't see how people don't get that.

They act as if Favre runs around and screams "Hey Look At Me Everyone!!". He doesn't. Not even close.

Logic is flawed as well, this should have no bearing on anyone's view on a player.
