I understand that when Moss was younger that he was more immature but again i don't see it that way. Do you think he coincidentally hit maturity the day he joined NE? I don't. Remember EVERYBODY laughing at NE after that trade for Moss saying how it would ruin the Patriots? The year before in Oakland he was about as immature as he was in his whole career and had no offensive stats while pouting every day on the sideline. EVERYBODY here said he had lost a step and wasn't that good anymore and his attitude would KILL the Pats. Well, sometimes a place can change a person and this one seemed to change him. I think it could have done the same thing 5 years earlier considering just how bad he was in Oakland the very year before coming here.

What is amazing is how Miami just let Welker walk away. The guy has more receptions since the start of the 2007 season than ANY Receiver in football. I'm not sure who is more important, Welker or Moss?

gotta put Elway in that list. THE DRIVE! Elway's 98 yard drive in the AFC championship game vs. Browns.

IMO Favre is better than any on this list
I disagree. There's some pretty damn good QBs on that list. I definitely wouldn't put Favre ahead of all 8. I probably would put him somewhere in the middle of those 8.

If it was based strictly on records then Favre would have to be the greatest.

My post was never about MOSS

I'm saying NE won those championships because they didn't have a big name receiver. Welker was a nobody before he got in this offense. Troy Brown is a nobody since he left. That's my point. Nothing about Moss

Since Brown left??? He retired kb, that's why. He was never much when he was here and if you saw my post, they would have no doubt been in another SB if they had a receiver worth a shit vs Indy in '06. Look at their offense since Welker and Moss came. They are 100 times BETTER. I don't understand how that somehow makes them worse? Yes, they lost a SB but after going 16-0, i repeat 16-0 with those receivers. I just don't get it i guess .......

I didn't see it as one. Saying they were better off without 2 Pro Bowl receivers is mind boggling to me!
