Mavs, I don't get it. Are you a GB fan, Brett Favre fan, Aaron Rodgers fan, Minnesota fan or what? lol
GB fan first and foremost. When they played the Vikes it was GB or bust. But you can't have rooted for for GB for the past 10+ years and not have loved Favre. Thompson gave him a shit situation and I don't care who he plays for, he's more fun to watch than anyone else.
So what impact would Favre winning a Super Bowl this year due to his overall perception? This is basically the same Vikings team from last year w/ the exception of Favre. You think Sidney Rice's wallet is thanking Brett Favre every day? Shiancoe?

Both were players on the rise. They were improving from last year

Thanks, i was really just curious as to who your heart/fanhood was with!
If Peyton pulls off another SB win this year Id put him at #1...I love the way he plays the game and he makes everyone around him better.
Finally someone gives my boy some love.He loses Harrison and everyone says Peyton won't be as good without him.Well IMO Dallas Clark and Reggie Wayne are the stars they are today because of one man.Peyton Manning. He makes everyone around him better.Maybe not the best ever YET but by the time he's done he will go down as the best ever
To me all the guys mentioned are great. Not much difference IMO.It would be like making a list of top 10 hottest celebrities .If you lucked out and banged one of them she would shoot straight to the top of your list.Same with these list of top QB's.The ones we love and follow from either our hometown or favorite college shoots straight to the top cause we watch them every week.
To me, Favre is in that Fouts, Kelly, Moon, Young area, that could be branded #6 or #13 very easily depending on your preference. The top 5 QBs could ride a team to the playoffs with just about any tandem of receivers, lack of running game, or ineffective defense. Montana might be the one exception to this, as defense and running game were always his in SF, but Marino and Manning could watch All-Pro wide receivers sail away (Clayton, Duper, Harrison), and keep putting up insane numbers.
