Lmao! Who's the baby? You were the one who quoted me, not the other way around. I responded to Frank bringing up Clinton. I think you're the one who needs to back off. You had NO REASON to reply to me other than to stir the pot with YOUR OPINION that troops are still there. If you're going to make a reply to me, you should expect one in return. And don't cry like a little baby when you get one!

I couldn't give a rat's ass whether you like that or not. Don't start shit if you don't want to get involved. I never asked for your opinion!

                    Thanks for proving my point....

And...Gotcha Wayne. I responded to Flare's post about Clinton and Vols post about the troops. Both fired the first political shots. But somehow Vols thinks he's above the rules I guess, or that he's somehow allowed his opinions but others are not. He can whine about it all he likes....

Ain't blaming Kaz for that one. 1 missed FG and 2 blocked FG and you lose by 2 points you can't blame no one but the 11 guys on the field for that!!!!!!!!! We are getting back in the game though MM.Would you agree? We hit rock bottom last year but I feel like it's nothing but up from here.4 loses so far and at the time we played them the 3 of the 4 were against undefeated #1 Fla,#1 Alabama and #16 Auburn. And played well in all 3.Were getting better thats all I can ask for.

Kaz, vols, you have both been banned from this thread. I asked nicely and nothing came of it. I knew post 69 by Kaz was going to bring another response and it did. Well, you can both get away from this thread now.

If the 2 have an affair, can't fire one and not the other- however, if he does have the authority, power, supervision, then it is a problem.
I imagine ESPN has a no hanky panky policy. In CA it is enforceable- in other states not as much.
Question always is discrimination- if they fire him and not her it is gender based discrimination. At will is useless in CA and other states if the termination is discriminatory or based on retaliatory motives (i.e. whistle blower statutes). If the guy had a supervisory role or a position of authority over the female, he could be terminated and not have much of a lawsuit.

If an employee has written contract for a specified term (this would not be an at-will contract) you generally can only terminate for cause. Question is whether this conduct constitutes cause (again, does it violate the policies and procedures.) Practically, it doesn't matter- if there is a contract typically damages are limited to the value of the contract and not future lost income, emotional distress, etc.

There you have it in a nutshell.

COBRA should cover his 30 day stay at the rehab center. Phillips has a problem, and I hope that he is successful in his recovery. It is supposed to be the the same center that treated actor David Duchovny.
