After this week the best NC game would be...

        SEC Champ v Boise

It's not gonna happen unless Boise shuts out at least 2 teams on their way to being undefeated. It looks like SEC Champ v Texas.

Boise's BC fate depends a lot on how Oregon's season plays out. Right now Oregon's success is really helping Boise's BCS numbers.

I would like to see USC play an SEC team in a bowl game for once. Would hate to see USC destroy Iowa (another big ten team) in the rose bowl
Texas could definitely lose in Stoolwater. It's not out of the question that Nebraska could beat them in the Conference title game also, imo.

No, I had to live in Oklahoma for a few months and it was by far, one of the worst places I've ever lived. I like the OU football program, and have even been to a game there-the fans and people were nice and down-to-earth, but there was nothing to do there.

I agree they'd never have a SEC rematch in the BCS Championship game.

Hypothetically, what if Texas, Cincy, Boise and all other teams have 1 loss. An unbeaten Bama beats unbeaten Florida 21-20 with a TD drive in the final seconds in the SEC championship.

Why not have a rematch between the two best teams? It's different but in the NFL we had a great rematch in the Super Bowl between the Giants and Pats.

The polls drive me crazy. If #5 loses a close game at #4 they should remain at #5 or maybe drop a spot or two. But the pollsters will drop them to #12. It makes no sense.

Why should they? The better of those two teams has been decided? Why play the game again? If you want an SEC rematch, then there is no need for the first game between the two, as it virtually means nothing.

The better team doesn't always win.

Then what makes you think the NC would have any different outcome than the SEC championship? I don't get the logic between having two teams play each other back to back games. When one game is of zero significance and the other is for everything.

depends on where you lived, how old you were, how much time you had on your hands....and money to spend.[/QUOTE]

grandmama: I've lived, yes lived, not just visited, (2 mos to a year), in 46 states and 19 foreign countries......

                                I chose to live here....not forced to....why.....

6 sons loved their hi schools and college......

plenty for them to do around here.....

nice, loving, caring people who are always willing to help each other out......

plenty for adults to do with families or alone....

                                great school systems....

you kindaq hurt my feelings here.....

I also lived and worked in Decatur Ala for 2 years......plenty to do in the area (Huntsville), people were nice, but I worked so much, didn't have the cahnce to see too much....did go to TALADAGA for the races.....

I would never make that statement about Ala to you or anyone else, evenif I felt that way...

I guess I have more concern for others feelings than you do.....
