I heard the same thing last season about the Rays. It held up through the playoffs until the WS.

I think the WhiteSox will win the Central, if Peavy joins them soon. Rios was a great pick up in my opinion. They got Quentin back now. They make a big run here. RedSox will win the wildcard. Texas' pitching is too young

They have just dominated the Angels in the Post season. The Yanks beat Minny in the other Series and we have a Boston/NY ALCS again. This time the Yankees win and move on to play Philly in the World Series. Yankees win and A-Rod finally gets a ring.

It is not what i want to see by any means but it is my unbiased opinion on the whole thing. I think Boston beats out Texas based on experience and a tough road trip for Texas coming up. I am waaaay more worried about TB, before Texas!

I'd post a rebuttal but don't want to be banned from this thread too.

The youngsters haven't pitched well on the road and they have some tough away games coming up.

I just think that although I am a NYY fan, in a short series, outside of CC, I cannot depend on Burnett (recent Bos game proved that) or Pettitte (at this point in his career). And I think that it was proved when Detroit smacked us in the playoffs that a run of three pitchers can shut our offense down no matter how good it is. I also have concern with hughes in the playoffs (can he be as dominant as regular season) and only having one lefty (coke) out of the bullpen. Aceves arm is done as well.

Bos no matter how much they have struggled, still have one of the best active playoff pitchers (Beckett) and Lester is a stud. Bos wins two, Yanks take one, Bos wins two.

                                My nightmare
