AGAIN ... I lost all respect for the conversation right about when you started sounding clueless about football.

It doesn't matter where you're from. Just like I know that all people from TN aren't dumbass, ignorant, NASCAR-loving rednecks. C'mon!

        Percy Harvin (projected #27)

I think Nicks is the best fit for this kind of offense however, and if they did cash him...... everyone (not just the South), everyone would be afraid to play this team.
Percy Harvin has as much of a chance playing for the Falcons as Mike Vick does!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When you KNOW THE DATE that your going to get tested and you fail that tells me you have no respect for anything. He will be another troublemaker in the NFL and the Falcons want no part of that

For losing respect for the conversation you certainly spent a good chunk of time on it...

Chiefs fan here...............this deal def. looks better for ATL right now. They have a shot to win the NFC, so great move for them. To get the best TE in the history of football for a 2nd rounder is a great move for them.

Looking at KC's view.....Pioli knows they arent winning the AFC this year...so, you build for the future. Last year mid season we shopped Tony G and the best offer we got from NYG was a 5th rounder and Sinorice Moss. I hate to lose Tony G and I was very sad, but this is not a bad deal for the future. Knowing Pioli he will deal that pick this weekend as ammo and turn it into something.

And you keep using smiley faces. I use facts... You called my statement ignorant. I proved it wasn't. I don;t need to do anything else.
PG, when I first read your post I thought you were dead on....I then went to check out his career stats as I thought they were declinign before last year and the last 2 yrs were 2 of his top 3 yrs in his career. Most players at that age are past their prime and of declining skill, but you have a difficult time arguing that a player his past his prime when he has had two consecutive career yrs. Perhaps a better argument is that you can't depend on him to be as productive because of his age for many more yrs as history would indicate that he won't be and that there would be a droppoff...but, then again, he could be the excpetion to the rule and only time will tell.

                  Just my $.02.

I wouldn't touch Harvin with a 10' pole and Bey won't make it to #20. Nicks goes to my G-men, if they don't trade up for Bey.

If you think TG is past his prime you are nuts. Not only is he a stud, he plays every week, unlike Gates and Shockey who miss half the year.

Look at TG's games played the last 8 years.

Roddy White may go nuts on the outside if they double TG in the middle. Atlanta is LOADED on offense right now. I wanted them to get Torry Holt. I think he would have been a great compliment to White on the other side for a couple of years and it would have added some more veteran leadership.
