Sheesh...

He was targeted 155 times last season! That was number 1 for all TEs and NUMBER FOUR OVERALL. He was one target ahead of Larry Fitzgerald and two targets behind... guess! DWAYNE BOWE!!!!!!!!!!!! So my ignorant statement of passing it because they had a bad o-line, a subpar running game, and were behind and had to pass and a rookie quarterback throwing to a security blanket were all RIGHT. ON. THE. NOSE!!! Was it a suprise he had a 90 catch season for blah blah blah yards. NO! HE SHOULD HAVE HAD THAT!!! HE HAD OPPORTUNITIES! It was as I said in my "ignorant statement" THE PERFECT STORM. Okay I get the W. I'm over it! Have a good day!

Correct, AND HE WAS DOUBLE TEAMED ON 154 OF THEM!!!!!

Guess what, he still caught the ball. An aging player would not have.

I'm still waiting to see the numbers that show he is on the "Downslope" as you say? I'm assuming you keep avoiding the question because you have no answer?

Put up a poll question "Is Tony Gonzales (33) past his prime?"

And you keep using smiley faces. I use facts... You called my statement ignorant. I proved it wasn't. I don;t need to do anything else.

Gonzalez turned 33 in February. Show me something that says a TE declines greatly from the age of 32 to 33. Just show me something, anything, than you can pat yourself on the shoulder. I go to bed in about 6 hours so you better start researching quickly!

Peanut Gallery, are you being f'ing serious???????? I can't believe your even arguing about Gonzalez

Gonzalez owns NFL career records for tight ends with 916 receptions, 10,940 yards receiving, 76 TDs receiving and 26 100-yard receiving games. Show me the downslope, if anything his numbers are getting better. Gonzalez was constantly being double teamed, and he still puts up these numbers. If it hits his hands, it is a catch 99% of the time. To argue that Gonzalez is in his downslope is just your opinion, not a fact because you cannot back it up with any numbers. So since Gonzalez gets the ball thrown to him all the time, all of sudden his numbers don't mean as much? Of course he is going to get thrown to all of the time, their is a reason for it. The reason is he is DAMN GOOD! Thats just like saying Kobe Bryant isn't good, he just takes alot of shots. Give me a break. Look at his numbers season by season below. He isn't getting any worse, thats for sure. Great trade by the Falcons. It pains me to see him go

Atlanta doesn't think they are getting this guy for 5-10 years. You know that right? If they get 2-3 solid Gonzalez years of 70-80 catches, that is all they need/want. I'm sorry you have trouble understanding that. I tried.

I have pointed out the facts of him being the #1 receiver there skippy. You have shown absolutely nothing and ONCE AGAIN, you have yet to show a single fact where a TE declines greatly between the age of 32 and 33. Until you do, you are just rambling ignorance.

The guy is clueless when it comes to football if he questions the talent of Gonzalez.

If you watch college football you can see why Hawaii people don't really know what a tight end does. All they see is 30 and 40 yard passes down field.

As for age of 33 peanut, you act like he's a running back who is going to touch the ball 30 times a game.Since you live in Hawaii, when he makes the pro bowl again, you can go tell him your sorry in person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that! Of course they aren't thinking that. At least I hope not... Again, we'll see what happens. That's all we can do... I don't have trouble understanding that. I'd appreciate a little respect. I don't talk down to you. I deserve that much.
