    1) Bradford - 48 TDs and 6 interceptions? That's a silly ratio. and he quarterbacked an offense that averaged 54 ppg and scored 97 touchdowns.

2)Colt McCoy - something like an 80% completion rate and I believe he was the team's leading rusher.

    3) Tebow - the guy does make the offense click. I've never seen a quarterback just flat run over people like he does when he needs to. He's mobile and huge.

I really kind of think Bradford will win it...and I kinda hope he doesn't. It's too much of a distraction for the winner going into the big game.

A case could be made for any of these 3 guys.

I wish they did the Heisman after all the bowl games are completed because it can be a distraction if the player allow it to. Seems like college football has a way of doing everything differently.

Tebow won it last year and ended up losing to Michigan as a -10.5 favorite in the Bowl game. It is like a curse to QB's in their bowl game.

Thats why if Bradford wins it and OU being known for choking in bowl games it will set up a huge play on FLA in the Championship game!!!

KB - 1)Tebow turned the season around in dramatic fashion by an acclaimed Knute Rockne speech to begin a romp through the SEC as few teams have ever done.

2)All teams have lost but Tebow did bring his team back in the only loss, only to have the kicker miss the extra point. This was very fortuitous for Mississippi. He did his part. Can't say the other for the rest of the hopefuls.

                  3) Tebos numbers have been down. Each of the other QB'S have exorbitant numbers and each could lay claim to the prize.
Bradford has shown that he likes to stay in the games all the way through for this honor. Tebow came out of the game in the 3rd or 4th Qtr on many of the blowouts. This means given the number of minutes played should be taken into account for scoring and yardage gained by rushing, passing, and no mistakes. ou must add field generalship as an intangible quality or the lack of a true leader is missing.
--- This is what it should be based upon in my opinion.
If you take the time to analyze the situation on each team, Tebow exemplifies the quality of character that NCAA football wants to endorse.

In the history of the Heisman. It always comes down to who did the most for their team to win and dominate. Strong contenders. Colt beat OK- so doesn't that bring on more controversy. NCAA is hoping not.

Really I like Tebow. I know you guys are gonna blast me but I still think the SEC in the toughest conference to play in. I think Tebow has less of a surrounding cast than Bradford or McCoy to work with. I feel the backs and receivers at Florida are not as good as at Texas or Oklahoma and more is on Tebow's shoulders.
I also feel that the defensive backs are better in the SEC and that Tebow has to work harder.
Bradford might be the best player but Tebow has had to carry the team more then Bradford had to carry his team. JMO

Tebow does have an excellent cast and did not have to do as much as last year. However, when key players like Harvin and Rainey went down, he brought back the gators by raising the play of the other players.
Bradford will have a tough time with our defense. The hugh separation that you see with the receivers of OK will be at a more competitive level with Gator backfield.

Again, so tired of hearing about the SEC and their great defenses. Who's to say the reason they're "so great" is because the offenses are "so shitty?".

Just as is the case with the Big 12...who's to say the defenses are not great because the offenses are?

                      1) Sorry SEC Homers, Big 12 was the best conference this year.

                      2) 48 TDs 6 Ints...unreal.

                      3) Usually I don't buy the "best player on the best team argument," but in this case it holds water as Bradford is the more than that, he is the best player in the country IMO.

If you are saying that Bradford doesn't have the 'quality of character' that Tebow does, then you don't know anything about Bradford. He is as fine a young man as one would want to meet, humble, well-spoken, respectful, etc.

Sam's passing stats: 168-244-2450 with 27 TDs and 4 interceptions
Tim's passing stats: 160-246-2299 with 25 TDs and 2 interceptions
Colt's passing stats: 186-232-2142 with 19 TDs and 3 interceptions
Graham's passing stats: 228-327-2567 with 25 TDs and 5 interceptions

Pretty even until you consider Tebow's stats are for the full season and the other 3's are at the midway point

I say in this order....This is my picks

                                Bradford..........too many unargueable numbers.......

                                Tebow............fantastic leader....consistent winner....

                                McCoy............% completions...running ability

HOWEVER: here's how I think it's gonna go....
                                Tebow
                                Bradford
                                McCoy....

                                and here's why......
3 from the Big 12 will be split out....spread around....Sec w/ 1 nominee will be front loaded by the SEC voters.....

All have 1 loss, OK has played the tougher schedule......set NCAA records for scoring pts in one season, and the ONLY NCAA FB team to score 60 points or better in 5 successive games.....3 of those against top 12 ranked teams.....

One can argue, that since Fla loss, they've excelled, one can also say the same for OU after their loss as the record indicates....

OK was ahead by 8 points, when their All American Middle Linebacker went out due to injury with about 13 minutes left in the 3rd.....Replaced him with a rookie/untested M LB, and Texas, WISELY, exploited that area....thus the long breakaway runs for TD's, and the consistent passes to the TE down the middle.....good coaching by TEXAS....

No excuse for OU, but how many teams can lose their ALL AMERICAN M LB against Texas and stop em, me thinks none, cause it's hard to do with your complete team.....

I think the votes get too spread around amongst Big 12 QB's for Bradford to do it.....Thus Tebow will probably get it....
