Im not "In the know" to know whats going down before it happens and secondly I dont wager enough money to even want to be in the know but I have seen enough and heard enough to believe some questionable things can and do take place.
I know what Lenny said a few posts ago makes perfect sense abotu soft lines/traps and I swear to God this was the first game that stuck out at me when I saw the opener at 3.5.......I was like if there is a trap its this game here.
PEACE
MCP, but didn't everyone get killed the week before betting against what everyone thought were trap plays? The Giants getting points in Philly everyone thought was a trap and a lot of money went on Philly as a result...no?
You understand a whole heck of a lot more of this than I do but I don't get the 'trap play' mentality.

I don't doubt it for a second. Anytime there's lots of money involved, there's gonna be shaddy people involved. From taxes, to stocks, to haliburton, to gambling.
First, I did not have the game bet. For all of you forward lateral people, it doesn't matter that the lateral was forward because it didn't hit the ground. The play should continue until the whistle blows. If SD scores, then it gets called back. If something else happens like, let's say a fumble on backwards lateral and a TD for the opponent then that play stands. Here is the quote:
"The first pass was the one that was illegal, but it only kills the play if it hits the ground," Green said. "That was incorrect to have killed it at that point. The ruling should have let the play go on. That's just the way that it played out. We believe the second pass was legal."
Green was asked why, since the ball didn't hit the ground during any of the tossing, the officials decided after huddling that the play should have ended.
FROM I JUST READ IN ANOTHER FOURM THEY WILL CHANGE THE SCORE LATER THIS WEEK BACK TO 17-10 CAUSE IT COULD INTER-FEAR WITH PLAYOFF SCENARIO'S BUT AS FAR AS VEGAS AND FATASS BOOKIES THE BOOK CLOsED ON THE GAME I HAD SD ....BUT I TOTALLLY AGREE THAT I SHOULD HAVE LOSS AND I REALLY BELIEVE THE NFL HAS HIT A ALLL TIME LOW AND IT WAS VERY OBVIUOS WTF THE REAL REASON ON WHY THEY MADE THE CHANGE THEY DID,,,THE REFS FREAKED OUT CAUSE THE GAME WAS NOT SUPPOSE TO END LIKE THAT SO VITIO CALLED DOWN TO THE FIELD AND TOLD THE REFS TO MAKE IT TO SD COVER '
NFL HAS BECAME A JOKE USE TO BE MY FAV...SPORT HAS NOW STARTING TO BE MY LEAST FAV......WHICH IS VERY MUCH ASHAME CAUSE I REALLLY WANT MY SON TO BECAOME A FOOTBALL PLAYER BUT HOW CAN I TEACH HIM TO BECAOME A CHEAT LOL
GLLL
GETER DONE PEACE
Did anyone see the interview with Mike Pereira (sp?) on SportsCenter? His explanation for why the TD should have stood and and why the call was incorrectly overturned made a lot of sense. I give credit to the NFL as they seem to own up to their mistakes and don't try to cover things up, unlike the NBA. DBURGH's post a couple above is right on.
I was wrong in that I thought Pitt couldn't decline the penalty incorrectly thinking the play was dead at the point of the forward lateral not realizing it needs to hit the ground for it to be dead. You live and you learn, you learn and you live!
HOLY SHIT, 23 PAGES!!!! Oh wait the score is still 11-10. Let it go. 23 pages later, nothing has changed, nothing anybody can do, leave it alone already.
what if SD would have thrown a hail mary and it was batted down...would the game have been fixed then...or did was the pitt lineman in on the fix and thats why he held on Parkers TD run...cause that would have given Pitt the cover as well...I might be dumb but think there would have to be way too many players and circumstances involved to fix nfl games...it isnt like NBA where one player or one ref can control so much of the game...just my 2 cents...
