Bet the team with the worst season record for 3 Units if a dog.
If that team is a favorite, play them on the money line for a risk of 5 Units:

Using $100/Unit, if a team is -200 on the ML do you bet
$1000 to win $500 or do you bet $500 to win $250?

Haven't gone through all the bowls yet but so far I have found these 4 teams that fall into the running dogs system, i.e. best running stats, with a good defense and getting points.

Wisconsin+3' over Miami
Temple +3' over UCLA
Idaho +1' over Bowling Green
Northern Illinois +6' over South Florida
