Nah..but IVAN jumps like crazy. I have seen the pattern that a day like today rockets the stock, it seems to give it back and more somtimes in the matter of a week..then you can nibble and get in knowing that the company is a PR machine, and there will be more releases from them, and the stock rolls when they release the new info.

If I buy some I will let ya know.

I have traded a few things, but I dont see a big need to post them, people arent trading off my plays, so in the future I will just generally post info and if a new trade comes I will list it if I want others to get in too..

Maybe I trade too much??

Wallstreet-I am posting this here rather on service thread(as there has been enough turmoil over there already), but you asked about Ty's Code Zebra Plays Vs his Vips Plays.
Did you follow my controversy with him starting on Monday on his Monday thread when I questioned him about the same thing;that inspired his racial slurs and tirade and threats against me, a lot of which has been deleted;he still has not answered the question.
Obviously as anyone knows and has been posted by some there is no difference between the two clubs other than the price;the rest is bs.

Yep..saw the whole thing. I saw todays action too, but you have to be damn quick, Wayne shut him down and fast! I didnt see the first post on that one darn it.

yeah and he is a real bum..we both know that, but the question I was asking is legit and he should answer. It makes no sense financially and to be honest, if his record was that good, I would get a group together and pool some money to defray the costs..not that I am saying I would ever join him, but getting 40 units, at 75 a person for 10 people isnt that bad. Again, not saying I trust what he says at all..

I am sure it is tough not to go at him all the time, but you arent gonna get anything from him..one look at his fat smug face on TV and you know the guy is a creep..

Wallstreet-I missed the apology thing today also, and still don't know what it said-obviously more lies.
I think my latest response gives him a clear message using HIS logic.
Pooling money;it would expose him, but anyone with half a brain knows 1) inspite of his claims he has not gotten 34 people to sing up from Bettorschat(I would put the over/under at 1/2 person), and
2) I can't imagine anyone ever even if they bet 100K a game payiing anyone 12,500K for 3 weeks of service.

This market stinks, fear is coming in and I like it.

BOT 1/2 position in MRVC at 2.84. I love this trade and see an easy 10%, within this week.

Also missed HLIT when it went below 8.25. Will watch and take a position if we get that low again.

I have followed this company for 4 plus years and have a feel for their business and how it trades.

I bought this stock last year, had to hold it for a bit, but it was one of my best trades last year if I recall.

They have decent managment, a ton of little companies and a good business plan. They also have enough capital to make it, versus others in the optic space.

This one went to 4 plus, I sold way too early, and I feel like I am getting bargain prices below 3.

There are a few others I am excited about, but MRV is one I like quite a bit.

When you watch the market every day for the last 8 plus years, you get very confident in the decisions you feel good about. I dont post here because I like penny stocks and enjoy the rush but it is a hobby, I still have my brokerage licences and my market maker licence..I bet I will be trading for the rest of my life!



ps..in no way am I saying we are at a bottom here, rather a good spot to start a position. If we get hit hard, I will bring another 20k or so into the fray and keep nibbling..some of these trades are real winners..

I am close to "jumping in," but its just scary for me to purchase a stock that is in such a slump. I'll keep an eye on it! Good luck to you!

I am an investor..specifically I buy properties to rehab and sell at retail.

I do other things from time to time, but mainly stick with the rehab business.

So I dont have a lisc, nor will I be getting them. Having to abide to the RE rules doesnt always fit an investor, nor do I want to be forced into getting listings..nor do I want to be on my own and have to pay the MLS fees and other fees to be an agent..haha

How about you?

MRV was way oversold. I missed it by about 10 cents, but if I can get 3.25 in a few days, that would be an exit..depending on market conditions.

I am pissed at SONS.. got whacked on a rumor..man that makes me really mad. Will have to take my shots on that one and wait it out..

A few others are turning nicely, including HLSH..about time!

Sorry I havent been responding quick, been dealing with some things around the home..

MRV was one of many stocks that got hit hard, and turned strong even though the general market only went up like 2%. It is a tough way of trading but if you get in lightly and do it right, even extended dips arent the end of the world.

Keep that list around, the ones we talk about here.. I didnt buy CHTR or IVAN or FIBR..there are still more out there that can get you 10-30%. If timing now is bad, then wait for the next drop..there is always one around the corner..haha
