Oil Futures

I am not a stocks guy so if anyone can explain how much do you have to put down on Oil futures I would appreciate it.

I have heard that those who bet on these only have to pay a very small percentage of the total price per barrel.

This a very risky thing to do. If you are asking then I would lay off. It has to do with leveraging. You can control a large amount for little money, but if things changes, then you can loss everything.

Leave these to the pros.
