Aloha Gang....Lets Rock-N-Roll...Enjoy,,,,,,Who can't wait for Football to start?....We're almost there gang, almost there..

**TOP RATED DOG OF THE NIGHT ON: (3 Units)

    Oakland +116

Ok Gang....I am fully aware of how Lowe has dominated the A's in his career...and especially of late where he has won the last 7 straight with a 2.81 ERA as well.....I also know that he is on a good run right now, going 4-0 with a 1.71 ERA in his last 5 starts on the hill...That is all good and dandy for him, but those games were in the past....and one thing of note is that all of those wins against the A's was when he with another team...Tonights game will be his first game against the A's in a Dodgers uniform and to me that will make a big difference tonight...

Some other situational setups I like in this game...is the fact that while Lowe is on a solid upswing....his team is going the opposite way....Currently the Dodgers has lost 3 of their past 4 games...and are on their 8 game of their 9 game road trip....Furthermore, the Dodgers have currently lost 10 of their last 13 interleague games....Even with this down swing and backend of this long road trip...the Dodgers still are leading the NL West and this situation, imo is something which does nothing to motivate them tonight....I feel they will turn things around when they get back home...but seem to out of it and it usually shows in teams on the tail end of their road trip and when they still are in the lead...

The A's, on the other hand, come into this series on a roll....They are jelling right now...and it is evident as they have currently put together their longest winning streak of the season at 8 games....They also have been on a tear at home winning a season high 6 straight...And, they have also put together a solid 12-2 record in the month of June...Helping to motivate the A's to continue on their game is the fact that they have gotten to the top spot in the AL West, but sit just a half game in front of Texas...Perfect situation, which should help keep their focus...Oh, and don't forget they also know how Lowe had dominated them as well....and base on their situation right now..and the confidence level they have overall, I see them totally focused on putting an end to his run of wins against them....Playing at home tonight, is another added bonus for the A's.

The A's will be sending Saarloos to the hill tonight...and he is coming into this on also on a high and with alot of confidence after two solid outings....His last start was against the Yankees last Saturday, where he allowed just 4 hits and 2 runs in 6 innings...This was an important win for him as it snapped a 3 game start losing streak...The win also provides him with an opportunity to shoot for back to back wins for the first time this season as well....I feel after taking down the Yankees last Saturday his confidence and focus should be high....And with his team playing at a high level as well right now...is a perfect situation for him to prevail tonight over a team who overall are sliding.....Saarloos also should be focused on getting in the win column against the Dodgers.

As mentioned above, their is no doubt that Lowe is pitching superbly as ever in his career right now...but I simply cannot dismiss the fact that his support around him hasnt been doing the same...I dont see Lowe being able to carry his team by himself...and not against this A's teams that is at home, on fire, on top, and who is playing overall solid ball....The A's has a big edge in the situational setups tonight and that should result in a solid outing and an extention of their HOT streak to 9 games.

Side Note: Oakland has won 7 of their last 9 interleague games.....while LA has lost 10 of their last 13 interleague contests.

    *More Stats and Trends:
    - OAK are 13-3 in their last 16 games on Grass.
-OAK are 13-3 in their last 16 overall.
-LA are 2-8 in the last 10 meetings.
-Saarloos has been strong at home this season, posting a 2-1 record with a 3.14 ERA.

I love the Home Dog tonight to Bark Loud.....A's is the play....GL and Aloha CC.
