ILLINOIS "FIGHTING ILLINI" VISIT MICHIGAN STATE "SPARTANS"

It is senior day and emotions will be riding high at East Lansing as the Spartans say goodbye to three players who have been a major part of over 90 wins in their four year careers. Unfortunately when the emotional fire burns out and skill takes over, we have two very different teams headed in very different directions. The Illini have won 7 of their last 10 and 4 of their last 5. More importantly they own road victories over the following people. North Carolina, Wisconsin (where the Badgers never lose) and Minnesota. The Spartans on the other hand have only one real quality home win, and that was over Iowa almost a month ago, and the Hawkeye's are not the same team on the road than at home.
Illinois has excellent guard play with senior Dee Brown who led them to the NCAA title game a year ago and Brian Randle and solid James Augustine on the inside. Teams with excellent guard play go deep into the tournament, just what we expect from Illinois, unless they get a bad seed with at least a sweet sixteen performance. Take the boys from Champaign to cover the number & WIN BIG !!!!!
