Last week: Daytona -1.00 units
Last week wasn't too bad for a race in which there were so many "incidents"! We only ended up down 1 unit and really should have been up 1 1/4 units (Elliott Sadler DID finish ahead of Ryan Newman in the race that I saw!) but those chicken shit NASCAR Officials had to use a "scoring loop" when the yellow flag came out at the end! Since we are in this for the long haul, I am pretty happy with Week 1.
So, what to expect for Week 2? The Roush Fords and Hendrick Chevys will be strong. Biffle, Edwards, McMurray, Kenseth and Martin for Roush are all cars to watch. Gordon, Johnson, Kyle Busch and Vickers for Hendrick will be strong. With a Hendrick engine under the hood, also watch out for Joe Nemechek as a "sleeper".
Where do we make our money this weekend? All plays are from BetCris.com

Group 2: (1/4 unit)
Jeff Gordon +150 over Kyle Busch, Joe Nemechek, Mark Martin
Group 4: (1/4 unit)
Jamie McMurray +150 over Dale Jarret, Casey Mears, Carl Edwards
Highest Chevy: (1/4 unit)
Jimmie Johnson +350 over Denny Hamlin, Jeff Burton, Kyle Busch, Joe Nemechek, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Sterling Marlin, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Martin Truex Jr., Brian Vickers, The Field (all others)
Highest Ford: (1/4 unit)
Greg Biffle +120 over Mark Martin, Elliot Sadler, Dale Jarret, Carl Edwards, Jamie McMurray, Matt Kenseth, The Field (all others)
Along with my 1/2 on all 3 of my Top 3 drivers I am going somewhere this week I don't normally go, I am going to Pick A Winner this week and put 1/2 unit on Greg Biffle +500. Those odds are too good to pass up and I really feel strongly about Biffle making a weekend sweep after his victory in the Busch race yesterday.
Good luck! Remember, this is a marathon not a sprint. We don't sweat going down a few units at the start of the season because as the season goes on, it gets easier and easier and the opportunities get better and better!
