Yawn-Did anyone really think he would win? I wonder what he will have tomorrow-a 2000 Dime Monopoly Money Lock or to be "safe" maybe (2) 2000 Dime Monopoly Money Locks.
I can't wait to read his "explanation" tomorrow as to why his "lock" lost. I will post it. Here is his "gem" of the explanation of his LOSING pick.

    1000 DIME - USC

For all the same reasons I used USC over Oklahoma a year ago, I'm using the Trojans again this evening, loving them more than life itself.

Coaching, experience, and more playmakers across the board for the Trojans starting with their QB. Pete Carroll and his staff will coach circles around Mack Brown and the Longhorns. Just watch.

Now, I will get to all the reasons why USC will win this game by double digits, but let me first start with why Texas can't win this game. First of all, Texas is good, just as I said Oklahoma was good last year. However, this game comes down to a couple of huge key factors. People can say what they want about Young at QB for Texas, but he is in for a long night. This is the best defense he will see this entire year and that includes Ohio State. The defense that you saw completely dominate UCLA's potent offense to end the year, is the same defense Young will see here. You see, Usc is healthy on that side of the ball. Pete Carroll and the Trojans defense will get Young in 3rd and long, a place Texas is not familiar with and Mr.Young will become very uncomfortable.

Now, you can say whatever you want about rivalry week, but to watch Texas struggle against Texas A&M, well, I am not too confident they can stay within single digits here. The Aggies had Texas on the ropes. Believe it. In my opinion, the only reason this line is not 14, is because of the Longhorns' blowout Colorado in the Big 12 Championship game. You are getting unbelievable value with the Trojans at this number, which is essentially a home game for them.

Lastly, Texas was very fortunate to play a very favorable schedule in a down year for the Big 12 with exception of that 3 point win at Ohio State. I know Texas scored all those points this year, but like I said above, this is the best defense they will see all year long. They will not be able to execute for a full 60 minutes against USC. They will get down and they will hit the panic button, just like Oklahoma did last year.

Now to the best team in the country once again, the USC Trojans. Throw out the Fresno State game. Just get rid of it. They didn't take them serious, found themselves in a dog fight and got out lucky. Look at the Cal game prior to that. 35-10. How about 3 straight 50 point games prior to that. es, they were on the ropes at Notre Dame, just as Texas was at Ohio State, but great teams find a way to win. I can't even begin to tell you people how good Leinhart is in a game like this. You add Reggie Bush to the mix and USC strikes fast. You then throw in the fact that Pete Carroll and his staff have had this much time, and they will own Texas much the way they owned Oklahoma last year.

USC is favored for a reason. They are going to win. As Texas did this year, USC won every game by double digits with exception of a 3 point game at Notre Dame. This is the lowest number they have laid all year long. I am talking about all year long.

The difference in this game will be the same difference in the blowout of Oklahoma last year: Turnovers. USC will get them and Texas will not. Young can't beat this USC defense. Not with his legs, not with his arm and what will beat him is his talent. He will think he can do things against USC that he did all year in the Big 12. Problem is the talent he is facing tonight is twice as good and twice as fast. He has been bitten by the fumble bug and it will be never more apparent than tonight. I look for USC to get at least 4 turnovers from Texas tonight. What that does is turn close bowl games into blowouts.

The world called me crazy when I touted USC in a blowout over Oklahoma last year. Well, call me insane this year. The Trojans win this game by 17 points or more in a blowout. Trust me, I give Texas credit. It's just that USC is that much better. USC is the 1,000 Dime winner.

Here is the jerk's writeup today with very little reference to how far off he really was yesterday in his assessment.
Today it would be too obvious to come back with a two thousand dime play;he has a few 20 dime plays.
Don't worry though;by the weekend I am sure all these hugh losing plays will be forgotten(by him anyways) and as stated he will have some 2000 dime plays if not higher to "make up" for them;this guy has no conscience, and doesn't even give a shit if people played his picks with REAL money and lost as opposed to HIS monopoly money.

Alright, now that the bowl season is officially over, it's time to focus in on the hoops until we get to the Pro Football weekend.

Yes, I went down with Usc last night. Even with Reggie Bush trying to lateral at the Texas 13 yard line as it looked like the Trojans were going to go up 14-0, they still came back and led by 12 with 4 1/2 minutes to go.

However, as you see in the pros, you can never count on a prevent defense, which is exactly what Pete Carroll did. He rushed four, went zone behind it and allowed Texas to drive when they were down by 12. To add insult to injury, the one time they do bring pressure, the Trojans had a chance for the pick and didn't make the play.

I stand by my Usc selection and if you would have told me I would have a 12 point lead with 4 1/2 minutes to go and not cover, I still would have rolled with Usc.

Just going to put it past me and work harder. It is what I have always done.

Now back to basketball tonight. On Wednesday, I went 4-1, hitting two of three in the NBA (Cavs, T'Wolves) and both college picks on Xavier and George Washington.

Taking a pass on the NBA tonight, but in college I am coming strong with these 20 Dime releases.

Here comes the hoops run the next few days and then it's the NFL playoff weekend, where I closed the regular season on a 12-6-2 run good for 885 Dimes off profit.

One thing is for sure: I will never have to change the title of this thread, as it seems over and over again this guy's big plays the 1000 dime plays(yeah like someone is going to bet 1 million dollars on it)continue to fizzle and have always fizzled no matter what he would lead you to believe.
He might consider flipping a coin;at least in that way he might get lucky and win at least a few of these monster MONOPOLY MONEY games.

Did he really try to convince his customers that USC had a better defense than Ohio St.? What a moron.

He also doubled his "pleasure" with Carolina. He must have joined forces with Wayne ROTTEN Root, who also had both Denver and Carolina.
