Phil lives in some kind of fantasy/delusional world and really believes 1) that his picks over time are really better than anyone else's;2) that the pile of (mostly useless)stats for the last zillion years he compiles in his Pow erSweep Newsletter really have a bearing on what transpires on the field;3) that when he goes on incessantly on his comp. line sometimes for over 5 minutes that most of the people are really paying attention to what he is saying;4) that computers don't exist and/or that gamblers don't own them, and thus virtually no one can get his picks for free on a number of exisiting sites on the internet;5) that people don't pick up on the fact that on many times he doesn't talk about his losing days or plays even though he always says, "Unlike other services, I am always up here telling you about my losing days as well as my winning days";6) that when he loses and does talk about it, BUT then tries to use some predetermined time period to try to show that he is still way ahead, that people don't pick up that in fact he is really just trying to spin his record;7) that his service is hurting and losing customers-did anyone notice that he is going to raise the cost of a call on the Community Line from $20 to $25? That tells you something.
I could go on, but I must buy my 25 year subscription to Pow erSweep through the year 2030 for only $2500 before Phil's "special" ends today at 8:00 AM.

i have a subcription to power sweep, what cracks me up is how he brags the 4 star picks in college is 10-2 but the 3 and 2 star plays nothing is said as those picks whould wipe out the 4 star plays and then some

Nice going Phil Stool-today on the comp. line he mentions very briefly that both his totals plays lost yesterday as well as his monkey play I mean his marquee play. There was no mention that he is 1-9 so far since Thursday and down a zillion stars when the ratings are factored in.
Just another day of Phil's telling it "like it is" ("unlike" those other services).

One last thing I want to add: it is a total insult for him to tout his 3 late phone NFL service plays for each sunday AND at the same time tour ANOTHER set of NFL plays which he touts he Phil's personal plays.
To me that says he 1) is first and foremost trying to extort money out of people and 2)by giving out another set of plays is trying to give himself another out to ensure that at least one set of his TWO late phone service plays win.
Then again, for a guy who already has a zillion different types of clubs and plays as well as his Newsletter plays, thus putting the odds in his favor that at least one of them will be winning at a certain time, should any of us really be surprised at this latest trick/deception?

It seems that a number of people here and on OTHER forums judging by the number of hits seem to take interest in what I have to say about Phil;most importanly, I feel I am doing my civic sports duty for exposing services like this especially when they purport to be honest!

I admit that I have been getting pow ersweep the last 8 years and have really followed Phil's plays a lot.

I was so excited a few years ago when I found his plays for free on the net. I had thought I'd hit the lottery, getting thousands of dollars of plays for free.

All it has shown me is that he is very average.

His college plays have been average for a few years now. Last year his er I mean Nor thcoast's NFL plays were awesome. I think like only 3 losing Sundays.
This year they have been Horrible in the NFL. Thus his latest scam.

And that is what was the last straw for me. Creating a second set on NFL plays is a bad joke.

I do think that years ago when he was hitting better percentages he was less shady. But as his picks have gotten worse and worse he has gotten more and more shady. I don't think that 5 or ten years ago he would have dreamed of the crap he is pulling now.

I don't even want to get into his questionable relationship with sportsbooks and the "Locked in pointspreads".

I guess from his perspective, if people are going to get his plays for free then he has to earn more from the paying customers he has.

All I know is that Phil and Nor th coast was a lot better years ago when he wasn't so popular. Now he is no different than Root or ATS or any of those other companies.

Phil today admitted he is having a very disappointing weekend, BUT other than saying he went slightly under 500 yesterday depending on the line on Idaho, he still has NOT mentioned the 1-9 day for Thursday and Friday(and remember that is based only on the won and loss record and NOT the star basis).

BSA-I am not sure to tell you the truth, as I don't know what ratings are for marquee plays, etc.
ps Phil once again gave his speech today about ALWAYS telling about losing days as well as winning days.
The problem is that he emphasized yesterday's small losing day, and as stated before, has not yet acknowleged the disasters on Thursday and Friday;as usual Phil "The Spinner" has tried to weazel his way out admitting about how bad the last couple of days have been.
Obviously, if he had had big winning days, he would be telling you not only his record but by how many points the games covered by, etc.

I ain't done yet.
Just to show you how devious Phil is, here is what happened today:
As most of us know by now, Phil has added his private NFL plays to his late phone service ones in order to 1) get more money and 2) have yet another service which he can fall back on to say at least one of his zillion services is winning at any one time.
Well today Phil apparently either must have felt strong about his late phone plays and/or could not come with any other suitable ones for his private plays.
The net result was that two of the plays, Seattle and Kansas City, were used BOTH as late phone and private plays. The other play was Jacksonville on the late phones and St. Louis on the private plays.
I wonder how a customer would feel who signed up for both sets of plays only to find out that two of the three plays were the same.
Just another day in the life of the "most honest" service in America.
ps I assume I brok no rules on this forum as I gave out his plays long after the games were over.

Phil obviously desperate to make money is now touting gift subscriptions to Power Swe ep for next season.
I wonder if Santa brings any of those newsletters with him on Christmas Eve.

All the prices of Phil's 900 numbers go up today-$9-$11 and from $20-25. Could it be Phil is feeling the pinch of the internet and loss of business because overall his picks are nothing to write home about?
