    4 Units on Indiana Pacers +3 -110
The Indiana Pacers did it to the Celtics on Tuesday night, sending the series back to Boston for Game 6. Ron Artest had 26 points and 10 rebounds, making the go-ahead free throw in overtime after blocking Paul Pierce's shot at the end of regulation, as Indiana rallied to beat Boston 93-88 Tuesday night. History hasn't been kind to teams trailing 3-1 in the NBA playoffs. Indiana though, still has a chance. ``It's a very weak pulse. Obviously it's a little stronger,'' Reggie Miller said after the Pacers scored all five points in overtime. The Celtics still lead the series 3-2, and only six teams have come back from 3-1 deficits -- just two since 1981. To advance, however, the Pacers will have to rediscover a level of sustained success that's been missing for months. Since they were 37-15 on Feb. 14, they've had only one three-game winning streak. Whether fatigued or nervous, neither team got going offensively in overtime. Boston missed all six field goal attempts and the Pacers were 1-for-10.

5 Units on San Antonio Spurs -2 -110
The Spurs opened a double-digit lead in the first quarter, built it to 24 by halftime and then had to hang on to defeat Phoenix 94-82 Tuesday night to take a 3-2 lead in their best-of-seven playoff series. The Suns, who erased big leads in their victories in Games 1 and 4, made the second half compelling. They opened the third quarter with a 19-5 run that trimmed San Antonio's advantage to 59-49, but the Spurs put together a string of baskets to restore their lead to 19 by the end of the quarter. Phoenix charged again in the fourth quarter, pulling within six, 85-79, with 1:49 to play on a drive by Stephon Marbury, but the Spurs hit their foul shots down the stretch to secure the win. ``We came out with energy in the second half,'' said Shawn Marion, who led the Suns with 22 points. ``We closed the gap real close. We just couldn't get over the hump.'' Tim Duncan made all six of his foul shots in the final minute. Reserve Malik Rose led the Spurs with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Duncan added 23 points and 17 rebounds. Led by Rose, San Antonio's bench outscored the Phoenix reserves, 42-17. ``When our bench plays that strong, it means we're really passing the ball well,'' said David Robinson, who scored 10 points and had nine rebounds. Game 6 will be Thursday night in Phoenix. San Antonio's energetic defense took away the inside in the first half, limiting the Suns to 10 field goals in the first two periods. Marbury was 0-for-7 from the field. ``I didn't really have my strength, the way I normally have it,'' said Marbury, who has been bothered by a shoulder injury that makes his right arm numb.

    3 Units on Anaheim Angels -1½ +110 (Shields-R, Davis - R)
Washburn (2-3) had little trouble with the Indians, who lost their eighth straight game with one of their poorest offensive performances in an April full of bad ones. The left-hander gave up just two doubles and a single through seven innings and was five outs from his first career shutout when he allowed a one-out infield single to Omar Vizquel and Matt Lawton's two-run homer. Cleveland has lost eight in a row for the first time since 1990, and the team is off to its worst start since 1969. In its last seven games, the Indians are just 3-for-40 (.075) with runners in scoring. Washburn gave the Angels their second straight strong outing by a starter. On Tuesday night, Ramon Ortiz pitched a seven-hitter in a 10-1 win. Washburn was nearly as good, retiring 10 in a row before Vizquel reached by beating out a slow roller to second with a headfirst dive into first. Washburn allowed five hits, and Brendan Donnelly pitched a perfect ninth.
